Oh I wish I saw this thread sooner. Im awaiting my pre-loved Speedy B 25 to arrive. I’m having my third baby. I definitely don’t overpack anymore and know what I need. I also don’t go for long days out unless I’m visiting someone so in that case, I bring a traditional baby bag and a small crossbody for me. I also keep extra clothes, toys and diapers in the car.

With that said, I’m tired of diaper bags and want to brave just using a speedy b 25 to throw 2 diapers, wipes and a onesie in. I nurse so I don’t really need bottles. I’m feeling less confident that it will work out after reading this haha. I know it would be fine in the stage I’m in right now with an almost 2 and 4 year old. (They also have their own little backpacks they like to put their toys or snacks in.) It prob would be fine once my third is past the 12-15 month mark. I always hear about the neverfull but I can’t picture not having free hands. Can I bump this thread and hear how OP made out and what worked or didn’t work? Also- belated congratulations on your baby!
I have been using the never full mm as my baby bag for the past 1 year and love it!! funny this thread popped up today as i was just upstairs seeing what would fit in the speedy b25. For the early days when baby needs more diapers, milk, clothes when going out I would use the neverfull, when baby gets a bit older and doesn't need as much the speedy b25 is perfect! just as an example, I fit a small umbrella, onesie, vest, big purse, key cles and phone into mine and room for smaller items like pacifier, lip gloss etc. too!

Congratulations to you too!!! So I ended up buying a preloved speedy b 25. I used with great success until the weather turned raining and snowing and then I switched to my Neverfull (world tour with black leather) and that’s been surprisingly great as well. Now that my baby is walking/running I think hands free with the speedy will be better than the NF.

I keep a big diaper bag in my car with a ton of stuff. Then when I go out, I had 2 diapers, a small back of wipes, in my speedy. It worked out well. I could have used a speedy 30 but that’s only because I carry a lot of makeup lol. Normal people who don’t carry a ton of makeup would be fine with a speedy 25 I think.
Thank you!! Yes I would love a neverfull for that reason. I guess I can use my long champ tote for extra baby things or the large diaper bag and keep it in the car. I love the speedy and can’t wait to move into it!

Yes! I always forget how much extra we need in the early days. Since I’ve had my kids pretty much back to back - it’s been so long since I could truly rock a mini bag everyday. That used to be all i needed. I think the speedy 25 will be great once I get to the 6 month mark haha

Speedy 25 is way too small. I would recommend 30B or 35B. But a tote would be better in my opinion...
Thank you for your reply! I already received the speedy b 25. You are right though. No would’ve went for a 30. This will work when baby is out of newborn stage but I wouldn’t recommend it to a new mom haha.

Just updating here in case anyone looks it up for guidance in the future. The Speedy B 25 has been the best mom bag work horse for me!! My baby is 2 months old and I carry this everyday with my thin zoomoni organizer which doesn’t take up space (1.2mm size). I am SO HAPPY I went with this bag. It will transition into a nice roomy everyday bag without being too big even when my kids are older. I am a nursing mom so I don’t have bottles or formula to carry so if you need space for them - definitely size up to the 30 though. I bought mine preloved and it is currently getting the zipper pulls replaced. That was the only wear and tear when o purchased it and it bothered me a bit. I miss her! Hoping to get her back in a month. Glad it is a complimentary repair though!

Thanks for this update. I am contemplating a Speedy B 25 as a mum bag. It'll be my second and I travel light so it'll mostly be baby's things in the bag anyway. Toddler will be able to have his own little bag for excursions so I think I will be good. It's so hard to make a decision. I think the Speedy B 30 is too big for long term use for me but there's always that, "what if" about the slightly smaller option with the 25B. I usually use a PA or Felicie to day to day. My Pochette Metis is my 'big' bag so a Speedy 30 would feel enormous!

For me, when my daughter was a newborn/baby/toddler, I used a Prada men's backpack. It was PERFECT! It had two big pockets which were ideal for her bottles, and it was large enough to fit diapers, wipes, extra clothes, etc. I solely used it as my purse as well, since I really didn't want to walk around with an additional bag. It was also ideal because my husband and I switched off, so it was masculine enough for him to wear, as well (and he wasn't embarrassed to carry it lol).
