That’s what I had in mind. A baby bag and then a bag for myself with whatever stuff I happen to need.
Speedy B 25 or 30 for a new mom?

I want to get a separate baby bag any way because I don’t want to risk baby things ruining my nice bags. So I’m looking for something very functional for my baby stuff and I will have to carry a separate handbag anyway for all my things. So the classic speedy 30 I already have is not going to be functional. Other bags I own include PA in Azur, monogram neverfull mm world tour (black leather) and a black Gucci marmont crossbody That I’m thinking of selling to help fund more LV purchases. I could just stick with my neverfull and see how it goes. But I might as well buy myself now because we all know price increase are coming soon!!
This is what my mom and sister are telling me too. They said just upgrade my 30 to a bandoliere. The 25 is just so cute though haha.
If it helps I went back and forth between 25 and 30 and ended up with 30 but it was such a black hole and too big for my needs so ended up selling it within a few months and purchased the 25
Yeah I currently have a 30 and it’s basically empty so that’s why I have the idea to get the 25!!
Im just here to say again that the NF didn’t worked out as a mom bag at all. First of all the shoulder straps would always fall down and with your baby in your arms and a fullpacked bag this is super annoying. Next problem is also that you need both your hands always, so with the Neverfull you will always struggle. The only bag that I would recommend from LV as a mom bag would be the Palm Springs pm or mm. A backpack is really the best! Ofc you can still get a speedy or a Neverfull afterwards

Speedy 25/30 will be too small for mummy bag. Mine is speedy 35 and it’s perfect. Now my girls is older, so I use it as travel bag. My speedy is 10 years old now and still in perfect condition.
Neverfull is a perfect mummy bag too. If you want, you can wear small crossbody bag for your important stuff like wallet/phone/keys for easy access.

I used my Neverfull MM before as a diaper bag… fits a lot and not too heavy … some diaper bags are heavy unless you get a nylon bag

I go between the Neverfull and the Palm Springs MM. they’re both great! The speedy 25 would be great when you don’t have to carry around a gazillion diapers and wipes! Trust me!!!! I have a 6 month old right now.
I use a longchamp besides my Neverfull and Palm Springs MM. it works great as well.
Oh I wish I saw this thread sooner. Im awaiting my pre-loved Speedy B 25 to arrive. I’m having my third baby. I definitely don’t overpack anymore and know what I need. I also don’t go for long days out unless I’m visiting someone so in that case, I bring a traditional baby bag and a small crossbody for me. I also keep extra clothes, toys and diapers in the car.
With that said, I’m tired of diaper bags and want to brave just using a speedy b 25 to throw 2 diapers, wipes and a onesie in. I nurse so I don’t really need bottles. I’m feeling less confident that it will work out after reading this haha. I know it would be fine in the stage I’m in right now with an almost 2 and 4 year old. (They also have their own little backpacks they like to put their toys or snacks in.) It prob would be fine once my third is past the 12-15 month mark. I always hear about the neverfull but I can’t picture not having free hands. Can I bump this thread and hear how OP made out and what worked or didn’t work? Also- belated congratulations on your baby!

Congratulations to you too!!! So I ended up buying a preloved speedy b 25. I used with great success until the weather turned raining and snowing and then I switched to my Neverfull (world tour with black leather) and that’s been surprisingly great as well. Now that my baby is walking/running I think hands free with the speedy will be better than the NF.
I keep a big diaper bag in my car with a ton of stuff. Then when I go out, I had 2 diapers, a small back of wipes, in my speedy. It worked out well. I could have used a speedy 30 but that’s only because I carry a lot of makeup lol. Normal people who don’t carry a ton of makeup would be fine with a speedy 25 I think.
