I have a question for the group. About 18 mo ago I placed my first special order with a SA- and that SA has departed VCA.
For those of you who have placed SO’s in the past (I’m aware they are for all purposes “closed” to mortals at this time), did you “check in” with your order or get any status updates?

You should also be given a new SA. Similar to your situation, my old SA left a couple of years ago, sort of.
My old SA texted me and told me he got promoted and will be going to another boutique. I did not follow him as I wanted my spend profile (e.g. loyalty recognition) to remain at the current boutique.
After he left, the boutique manager reached out to me, thanked me for my business, and assigned me a new SA.
I also had an outstanding order, and the new SA reached out to me the next day to let me know he's on it. The new SA also asked me about my preferences (I was a bit surprised my old SA did not transition, but the truth is, sales is sales and nobody shares client info). Hence, I had a lengthy text with my new SA for him to know my preferences. He said he keeps a file of preferences for his clients.
Your boutique manager should do the same and assign you a good SA given your history with the boutique.
