I inquired about this. I was told that a special order in this material would only be available after 2007 year starts and then it would take 6-8 months. My guess would be that they will end up doing it anyway as part of the line. The Batignolles is one of there best selling bags. I would love to have one but I am not going to special order for that reason. Dont want to lose that 30%!

I'd love the carryall in Damier... Will find out this Sat how much a SO would cost... and probably sit and wait until it's produced :laugh:
A wapity would be really cute, too :heart:

I saw some "spy pictures" or whatever of LV stuff that's supposed to come out in the winter. Among the pictures were a silver and gold vernis Alma (the really big size one.. but not sure which one exactly) and a Noe. I would take a picture of the page, but my camera batteries just died :(

If anybody wants to see it, I can charge up my batteries and then take a picture in the morning.:smile1:

I didn't know batignolles was THAT popular. In that case, I will sit tight for the Damier to come out. A Damier Wapity would be ADORABLE. I will hope for both to come out in uh, 2008???

And here I thought I was special for having read it in a magazine while I was in Hong Kong this weekend :amuse: Thanks for posting the pictures!

I really like the silver color, but I think it would get scratched really easily. I'm super neurotic about scratches, so that's why I like the Monogram collection so much...


edit: I didn't see the post from before, so maybe the article has pictures of bags that weren't posted yet. I'll post the picture anyway, since there were like 10 or so bags also in it, in addition to the Noe and Alma

speaking of the mirror line for the fall...my SA said on Saturday that he's seen the silver ones and they are exactly like mirrors....he said it's great because he won't need to carry a mirror with him anymore! And if I'm not mistaken he said they are plastic...so I don't know if they'd scratch or not.

I personally didn't have a good experience with special orders. I think that it's totally worth it if it's something that you love. I tried to order a Damier Alto and was told that it could be ordered and then was told that it could only be made in Monogram canvas. I already have a Mezzo and didn't want to pay $3000 for Monogram canvas.

Ever since the epi passy came out, I'm really dying for it to come in myrtille but just can't justify paying the extra 30%. I guess I'll just have to wait around for it...that's if they decide to produce it in more colours..

Germanium (color of my cles in my showcase) a Germanium L'Extravagant... omg uhhh they make the color and they make the bag but not in that combination!! :( Why charge me 30% more lol!!
