Raising awareness among adolescents and adults about respecting nature is the mission of the Actions Environnement Foundation. Founded in 1976, the Actions Environnement Foundation works throughout Switzerland to maintain cultural landscapes while protecting threatened natural areas. Since its creation, some 125,000 students, adult volunteers and people doing their community service have together worked more than 5.3 million hours. Over the years, the foundation has become a national centre of expertise in the construction of dry stone walls. The Actions Environnement Foundation finances its actions largely through the donations it receives and has been awarded Zewo certification.

This is apparently already sold out in Zurich, but they can order it for you. In any case, if you want it, I'd suggest not waiting for too long, it seems to be selling fast (they actually called someone in logistic if they could even still order it).

Thank you so much for this post. I wouldn't have known about it. It's my favorite design. I asked a friend in the UK to find one for me and she did! I have this scarf in all the colorways available and now this special scarf ... hopefully will arrive some time in the future ... unless my friend decides to keep it! :lol: Happy Holidays! :love:

Do you know if this came in a 90 cm as well?


I missed the Sydney store re-opening and I've just seen a 90 cm scarf in the resale market but can only find references to the 45 cm gavroche in my research. Any help gratefully received....

I didn't realise how many until I was looking in the Carres book! Interestingly the 90 cm Sydney special edition isn't mentioned, just the 45 cm (which also got me thinking)..... I don't think the Melbourne special edition scarf is mentioned either (the book was published before the store opened :) )

My fave SE of Perspectives: a 70 issued for an NGO - FIDH. It has additional text in the lower left corner with Jane Birkin's signature. She was a patron of the NGO and auctioned off her first Birkin bag to donate the proceeds to it.

Came across this online. Looks like it is a new Hermès Charity scarf for Hong Kong


HERMÈS FOR A MORE INCLUSIVE WORLD

In support of Hong Kong Cancer Fund, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, and Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, Hermès has personalised the silk twill scarf, Hermès Flagship, and printed it as a limited edition with a specialised colour scheme.

Observed through Dimitri Rybaltchenko's telescope, this boat has an air of Faubourg about it, with its evenly paved stones visible on the bow and display windows where celebrations seem to be in full swing, under the slightly envious gaze of the Greek gods. As a truly legendary landmark, the great Hermès ship has been sailing the seas for a century, revealing its majestic sails to the rhythm of the wind blown by a thousand pegasuses.

Somehow I don't think I can wrangle one from Sydney :sad:
Though maybe I have until March to hatch a plan..
