Apologies, if this is off-topic. This is an article from March, 2021 about a lovely lady donating her scarves to charitable organizations.
Who is Ms. L from LA? Wouldn‘t it be wonderful if Hermes brought back these designs?

Identified only as Ms. L., in a subsequent telephone conversation with Gregory Pappas, founder of the Greek America Foundation, she explained that she owns more than 1,000 Hermes scarves and is currently donating many to various charities, as there are no female heirs left in her family who “will enjoy them and understand their value and significance.”

The scarves are part of Hermes’ collection dedicated to the 1821 Greek Revolution and were designed in the 1980s by the French designer/artist Julia Abadie. Accoring to company records, only 500 of each color/style were made, making these extremely rare pieces.

Hermes scarves have gone for thousands of dollars in auctions throughout the world as an active collector base exists throughout the world.

ETA: on second look, this design does seem dated. Still, I am impressed with the idea of donating her 1,000 scarf collection.

Does anyone know if Hermès are going to issue a scarf for the Platinum Jubliee? After all, it will probably be her last “special” anniversary. I would love to have something to remember this historic occasion. TIA

I'm sure there will. There was even one for Silver Jubilee in '77.

Whether or not it'll be available from more places than the UK and British Commonwealth countries will be interesting.

Thanks for the reply. I would really love to get one, even though I am not a monarchist! We are reaching the end of an era.

I'm not a monarchist particularly either (perhaps for that reason I didn't chase a vintage Silver Jubilee Dieu et Mon Droit) but the Queen has done a dedicated, great job. I don't have the Golden Jubilee's Régina either as it would be too trad. feminine for me. I did more horsey themed scarves such as the Diamond Jubilee 2012 and Queen's 90th birthday 2016 though and like you, I eagerly await this next one too and wish her the best of health until we're talking about her 100th birthday scarf and beyond.

Can you tell me whether such a scarf would be available through the website. As I am bedridden, it would be impossible for me to visit an Hermès boutique, sadly.
