Does anyone (@WhiteBus perhaps?) have the weight ranges of
B40 versus HAC 40

I compiled a list of some others a long time ago

used my baking digital scale and weights are in grams for the most accuracy

Birkin and Kelly weight by grams

25B epsom sellier, 605 grams
30B togo, 893 grams
30B barenia, 754 grams
30B swift, 869 grams
30B vache liegee, 916 grams
35B clemence 1220 grams

25K epsom sellier with shoulder strap, 584 grams
28K quadrille, 718 grams
28K box sellier, 765 grams
32K box sellier, 846 grams

BBK longue wallet that i use as a clutch is 482 grams

no, I do not have weight details
but I was just surprised how heavy the large Kelly was when I was given one to try in the boutique a few months ago
in my mind comparing it with my HAC45 which is unlined

So who did watch the FW25 show and what are your tought’s? I saw some interesting pieces.
First this apparently heavy jacket which seems like lamb skin/ wool?
Second is that interesting black suit.
Third a more heavy duty liner or jacket which looks like the Avalon pieces.
Fourth, I loved those woolen sweats with hoodies…

Interesting but in the same line as previous years… nothing totally different so you can still build on your wardrobe of previous years.

Hi, I was wondering if there is any bags can fit in a 14-inch laptop (ideally crossbody or backpack)?
Would Kelly 42 Maxi be a good choice, or too heavy for daily basis? How about Birkin 35 or 40 (seems that 40 is very rare)? Thanks so much!

Among what I have, so far I only found Kelly messenger GM and Herbag messenger work well. Others can fit but do not work well: HAC 40 (even a canvas one is too heavy and handles are too short), Kelly 35 (seems that the handle and the lock not solid enough for heavy load), Herbag 39 (strap is a bit short for me), Jypsiere 34 (marginally small, cannot lock), Evelyne 33 (too soft, especially the bottom part), Lindy 34 (just marginally fit), Herbag backpack (slightly small), Garden Party 36 (handle too thin and soft for heavy load).
Any other choices?

Been carrying my 14” MacBook Pro in my GM Kelly Messenger and my B35, no problem with either! I usually have a small container with a lunch salad in a leakproof bag and a small jar of yogurt for my afternoon snack. Both serve perfectly as a full day bag for my typical work week in NYC. The messenger is great to cross body when I need to hold onto a subway handle or something but both are great.

I agree very flexible. Not groundbreaking but very wearable and interesting.

The chevrons on those pieces in bleu are sooo interesting. I wonder what fabric it will be.

Being a new owner of a GM kelly messenger in Togo Etoupe myself, I am curious if the base of the bag sags downwards when you put your laptop in? I am checking as I have a steve in clemence, and it is quite saggy now after using it for laptop. I feel that the base of the kelly messenger is more re-inforced though. Could you provide more information?

Not in any way that I’ve noticed. The base feels reinforced for sure and I’ve done a very heavy carry in it with no issue.

It fits perfectly in my Bolide 37 (35) too.

So...go with a smaller laptop if you can for more bag choices. Sacrifices
