Went to watch Dune Part 2 with my Gold Mini Evie, Gold 32mm belt kit, Orange Poppy Rodeo PM and Ombre Lizard Olympe ear cuff…

Looking very svelte! I took my feutre TPM when DH and I went to see Dune. He was sad that they simplified the story and streamlined the plot, but he’s already got tickets to see it again lol.

@Nikhil7286 , have you tried both PM and GM with some stuff? I think another member (@WhiteBus perhaps, and my apologies if mistaken) mentioned that it was a bit awkward getting stuff out of the PM while strapped to the front. Am making a note of your rec for memobottle, thank you. I would love to see more action pics if and when you are so inclined.

I posted a pic of DH’s bespoke shirt that finally came in. Toile was completed in August 2023, and full payment made. We were told delays arose bc there are few tailors in the worldwide program. Love it. The fabric is little H’s, but subtle enough that it really looks like a luxe pique Oxford. Trim, but could be worn as a shacket bc it’s flat bottomed. DH ordered another one bc the wait should be considerably less with the pattern cut. Also posted in MtM H thread. This is not the best pic, it’s less purple and a bit bittersweet brown, like H marron fonce.

I’d love some votes here too. Thoughts on this PM vs GM Hac a dos? Purely from a proportion perspective. As much as I’d love to keep both, I think I’d rather be on time with my mortgage 🥴😂
I like the PM on you, unless you want to use it to carry a laptop or other items that wouldn't fit in the PM. If you only are getting one, I'd go with the one that you'd use more frequently.

Thank you @880

I really enjoyed the film - I'm already looking forward to the next one!

As a serious big tote lover I have always been inclined to aim for the HAC or B40 but these days it is really about function and purpose. No birkin yet, but have had a chance to try on 35, 30 and 25.

I want an everyday, casual and light weight (mini) tote bag. Already have travel bags and work bags so 35 was out.

I had initially been concerned about a 30 being to small but after trying it in my opinion it is still too big for what I carry on the daily. I also had the chance to get my HG small Bottega Veneta Cabat that lands a size between a 30 and 35 but is significantly lighter as it is lamb skin. I know it is a very different bag to a Birkin but I don’t want or need a repeat size.

After a lot of considerations, for me, it is now definite a 25 that I want. (I had such a great experience with the nicest SA ever at my store that really gave me time to try on everything and browse before adding my wish).

The only con I can find about the B25 is the handles, but honestly I really don’t mind it as much as people complain about it. The 30 definitely had super comfortable handles but the 25 is absolutely OK, maybe I have small hands but personally I am used to my briefcase being hand carry only and the benefit is again that the bag will never get too heavy because there is a limit to what you can put in it.

To echo the advise of others on here I would really think about how you will use the bag.

Here is a mod shot 30 vs 25.
For reference, I am 173cm or 5,8”, athletic build.
The Birkin 25 is adorable! If I had to pick one, I’d keep the Birkin 30. It seems more practical and versatile. Small enough to take for a walk and big enough to take to work if necessary. I hope that helps!

Congratulations on getting this lovely bag! Was it hard to find one? Also, may I ask how does the volume compare to mini lindy? Thanks!
I don’t feel comfortable commenting on availability because my experience is unique. My Sales Specialist was a friend before he started working at Hermès so he helps me out. However, he still requires me to spend like any other client. Patience is important!

I most definitely recommend the Lindy mini. The base of the Lindy mini fits my iPhone 14 Pro (6 inches) comfortably with room left on both sides. It’s a small bag for casual outings. The Kelly Messenger PM is much more spacious. I can put a hairbrush inside. However, a small umbrella probably wouldn’t fit inside. I hope that helps!

Those who are looking for a laptop bag should really consider the Plume Strap
