Anyone on here have experience with H glassware? I have been eyeing the Iskander series wineglasses for a veeeery long time and have always wondered how they hold up in daily life and use. I honestly tend to put everything in the dish washer incl. more delicate glassware and not had too many problems but know that H also comes with a big disclaimer so wanted to hear if it is really hand wash only or you have no problem running it through a gentle cycle?

Tagging @880 here because IIRC she has an unfortunate take on the meaning of ‘veeeery’ long. Apparently H needs to source the perfect sand before proceeding with glass production.
As to your question about the dishwasher, I’m not a materials engineer but I think the issue is the combination of heat and chemicals. It actually would be a cool thing if there were a dishwasher liquid made for ‘delicates’ as there is for clothes but I’ve never seen one. (
now there’s an idea for Shark Tank!). So the question is how you’ll feel if you open the door to find that cloudy haze on your glassware….I’ve washed crystal in the machine for many cycles without a problem only to find a seemingly random cycle has yielded a problem and so I hand wash DH’s highball glasses because he’s the DH.

thanks for the tag; I haven’t used them yet. A veteran Madison Ave baccarat SA has told me that your glasses will age in a few years, versus decades with hand wash. But, if you must use a dishwasher, they recommend plain liquid detergent with nothing fancy, and no citric acid. They may so prefer, but they're not coming to your house to deal with that bubbling mess emanating from the dishwasher door when you've failed to properly calibrate the equivalent detergent amounts. You don't want to know how I know this, well maybe you do

It truly is! I’ve been using it for a week straight. It’s my little drop of sunshine in grey London as well haha!
