Will the line longer today since it is weekend? I think the store opens @11am on the weekend?
There are more new RTW for sure. I got a very nice white cardigan that I haven't seen online yet. I saw a lot of people got Rodeo Pegs as well. I wasn't interested in Rodeo so I didn't ask.
One of my friends already went there at 7am this morning and she's third in line.
They are not quota bags. Quota bags are a profile connected limitation to the number of bags one can purchase in a given time (ie two per calendar year). If you could spend on the same profile within the limited time period but in a different store and suddenly have new available allotment, it’s not an H quota bag.Honestly, no one knows. Some people shopped at SCP were told by their SA that B/K/C are all quota bags and only 1 bag per year now. But when I asked my SA, I was told that it's all based on availability. When I got my C18, my SA did tell me that he/she didn't forget that I want a Kelly.
The current US wide quota bag “rule” is no more than two Birkins or Kellys (including Kelly mini and exotic leather Kelly Pochettes) in one calendar year per client profile.
I know, that’s why I said it’s store/SA specific. Nothing is set in stone, just like no one knows what would be the right pre-spend amount .
Yes, Constance is a quota bag this year and I was also told by my SA at SCP that one quota bag per year now. When I got my C18 last year, I was told that Constance is really not a quota bag, it's just a bonus. I did not get a quota bag last year tho. When I picked up my items in the store last week, s/he told me that s/he remember that I want a Birkin. My SA already reserved a quota bag for me and my appointment will be in the 2nd week of March. What is the rationale for one quota bag a year? Is it because of supply issues? Is it to limit resellers? Is this new rule only for the US?
I had an appointment so I didn’t need to wait, but I noticed there is even longer line when I left store around 2:30pm today. I spent two and half hours there but there were too many people around so I didn’t stay.
More inventories for sure but RTW is very limited. I think it is the same as last month at the older location. More bags in display. I didn’t take any photos. I saw someone was buying a garden party size 36? I saw picotin 18, 22 in boxes (still sealed). Most people are staying in the bags, scarves area. Entrance displays Cosmetic/ perfume , then home, women RTW, shoes, men’s, fine jewelry / watches, bags, SLG , scarves. Very neatly organized. More open floors.
I have a good relationship with my SA, and she is a wonderful person. She showed me the whole store, and then we spent some time looking at jewelry and tried some.. Some are expensive but so pretty with diamonds.
There is a gentleman for the watch section if you have any questions about the watch.
I didn’t want to go home empty handed, so I got two scarves - double face royal tiger. I love cats and I own every design that I can find. To my surprise, a Kelly pochette came home with me today - Rose sakura in swift leather. Pretty pink! all my bags are either gray or black so it is a nice color addition to the bag family.
You can just ask if they have in the store. Hope you all find what you are looking for at the new store

I arrived for my appointment today half an hour early, but they let me in 15 minutes earlier than my appointment time, as soon as my SA arrived at work. The line wasn't bad at all when the boutique opened. The new store is so fabulous! Much much bigger and stock was so much better. Inside the store itself today, it wasn't crazy crowded. I spent 2 hours blissfully shopping with my lovely SA, who was able to get me my husband's H08 watch, my mini H pop earrings and pendant and twillies for my 2 teens who were shopping with me as well. He made it extra special by giving them perfume samples and wrapping their items in individual smaller bags especially for them.
