I spent 3 hrs in the store today. First half for the champagne and the 2nd half for sparkling water because I have to drive home. The new store layout is very nice. There’s a section for beauty products like perfume, nail polish, lipstick…. Most people skip that section and go straight to the bag section.
i was offered a Constance 18 Black with GHW, my friend got offered a Ostrich K25 Black with GHW, and a Evelyne TPM in Rose Mexico.
In the morning, I saw a pink mini Lindy and a gold mini Picotin on the shelf but those are sold quickly. Pretty sure the first few people in line already bought most of the popular size. It was a fun experience but it was exhausting too. The store is crowded, we spend most of our time in other part of the store because bag area is chaotic.
One last thing, they display some crazy expensive jewelry, some that I’ve never seen before in Hermes stores.

Were these offers on your wishlist? I mean were they reserved for you or were they offered because they were available to buy and you were lucky to be there at that time?
We have an appointment so these are offers based on our wishlist. However, a friend walked in and was helped by her own SA, and got offered a Kelly Pochette. The Mini Lindy and Mini Evelyne are more of first come first served. I believe they do reserve stocks for each day (similar to Paris) during the grand opening weekend.

Wow, that's fantastic! What great scores for you all! Congratulations! I'm going there this weekend to pick up a pendant and my husband's watch...do you think I have a chance at an offer?

Yes, if you are meeting with your SA. If it's a quota bag, your SA will need the supervisor/manager approval but your SA can make it happen if he/she is willing to vouch for you.

Today at southcoast. Line started at 7 am till closed. It started from one side of the store to another side. Everyone came out with a big orange bag. Line waited 5 hours in average.

Is Constance considered a quota bag in the US?
Honestly, no one knows. Some people shopped at SCP were told by their SA that B/K/C are all quota bags and only 1 bag per year now. But when I asked my SA, I was told that it's all based on availability. When I got my C18, my SA did tell me that he/she didn't forget that I want a Kelly :).
