Thank you @bowserbuffy. I hope when they open, they would have more items to offer. It has very limited stock even for the RTW nowadays.
I spoke to someone who was answering the phones at Hermes today. She said the last day the current boutique will be open is 2/9/22. Then she said 2/18-20/22 you can stand in-line to go into the new boutique. I'm assuming in the interval there will be a grand opening for the VIPs.
I thought the new store is postponed to open till march. Has it changed to February now?
Thank you for the update. I hope they will have more items when the new store opens. I haven’t bought anything because they were particularly empty last time when I was there in December.
I hope so too! Too bad my appointment is before the reopening, but I usually go on my birthday which will be before then.
I am going to make an appointment for next month. Do you know if there is any event for the opening?
I believe so, but I think only VIPs will be invited, which my SA gently hinted that I was not.
It's okay, I don't have delusions of grandeur.

Book online is a new thing, first time I hear. I always email my SA ask for her schedule so I can choose the time. I don’t know if I am a VIP but I am a good client, I think. If I have the invitation, I probably will go if the time is good. I am 1.5 hours plus away from the boutique.
I want to start my hermes 'journey' at the new Hermes Costa Mesa location. I'm thinking of purchasing a gold cdc or kelly bracelet, a belt and a scarf or two during my visit. If I were to subtly ask for a kelly 25 in a neutral color after the purchase, will I have a better chance of being offered one given that they might have more stock? I was speaking to one of the SA's a couple of weeks ago and they mentioned that stock was being held for the new location.
