Also, should I be worried that my SA doesn’t reply back? This was after I bought fine jewelry. I keep telling myself that they deserve a day off too.. Does your SA texts you back? How long have you been a customer?
Your SA could be off for a few days. Normally my SA will respond back with thin a few hrs. but occasionally my SA wont respond back to my text for a few days, but then I will get a respond back. Could also be that they are super busy or they don't have the bag you want. I think you just gotta be patient and trust your SA. There are many ppl waiting to get their quota bags too so its hard for the SA.
What was your purchase history if you don’t mind me asking before you got an offer? What month did u start your H journey and how long was the wait after you told them your wishlist?
Just some advice- I wouldn’t start comparing your journey to others. It’s a dangerous downward spiral and any mention of others receiving offers to your SA is a sure way to not get a bag. South Coast is experiencing a serious shortage in supply. It’s not just a SCP issue, it’s a world wide issues. This is on top of them already being notoriously one of the most difficult stores to get a bag from also. I haven’t received an offer since last February, so please know it’s normal for it to take time, especially in today’s conditions.
Also, SA’s have cell phones provided by Hermes for work that are left behind when they go home. So if you’re not receiving a reply, they’re most likely off. The SAs are also extremely busy so I have to sometimes send a follow up text to mine to remind him. Kindly, of course.

Question for my SCP people, as I have not shopped at Hermes since pre-COVID. Earlier in the beginning of this year, I was told that the store was open by appointment only, but my usual SA ghosted me when I tried to make an appointment (no shade on him, he warned me that they have been absolutely slammed, and I just didn't feel like following up as I had some other things going on). Does anyone know if the appointment only rule is still in place, or can you line up without an appointment? I don't know if I feel comfortable reaching out to him again.
Hello! You can do both by appointment or walk-in. For me, it’s better to do appointment only because the line tends to be long. Lately, I must tell you that it’s been quite difficult getting an appointment. For the last visit I got, I had to call a few times since they were not picking up. I’ve also left a couple of messages then one day, I got lucky that somebody picked up the phone. Good luck on your journey! Oh btw, my first SA there also ghosted me also…
You can do walk in, but the lines sometimes are very long. The 2 times I called to make an appointment they were pretty quick at calling me back the same day, but the only available appointments where a week to 2 weeks out on both occasions.
Unexpected delay but they're trying to push to open earlier. They already hire handful of new SA. Funny enough, when I was upstair at LV, a SA told me that few of her coworkers left and work for Hermes downstairs.
