I have the same tote in dark navy which looks almost black so is very similar to the NAP one. Like you I was using a Balenciaga part time. I have been using the Sophie Hulme for a few weeks now as an every day. So in my experience I find the tote really sleek and it doesn't scream in your face branded while standing out at the same time and I really love that about it. I found the zipper slightly difficult to manage in the beginning especially after moving from Balenciaga to this one, however, after constant use the zipper is fairly smooth now.
Another thing that doesn't bother me so much but might bother someone else is that if you attach the shoulder strap and then carry it using the straps, the handles stick upwards, but like I said it is not something that bothers me.
It can hold a lot of stuff but one thing that I did not like is when my bag was stuffed the bottom instead of being completely was sagging slightly. I fixed this by putting a stiff note pad at the bottom so now the tote holds its shape. It is very different leather than Balenciaga though and will not break as much as Balenciagas do.

All in all I really do like it and I am happy with the bag and the whistle charm on it is really cute.

Ladies, I just picked up my first Sophie Hulme bag! I'm so excited to get it.:D I was in London at the beginning of the year, and saw her stuff at Harrods, I loved the colours, and shapes she used. Unfortunately, they don't carry her stuff at Holts, but luckily I can across Ssense which has a couple of her bags on sale atm. I picked up the tote in teal, for $672 before taxes. They have 1 more of the teal, and 1 more of the mint left.

I received her 10/24 of this year and have been using her pretty much every day. I'm not too harsh on my bags but I certainly don't baby them and she is still beautiful. I did not spray anything on her only bc I am out of spray and didn't want to wait to use her, and I have been caught in a light drizzle with no problem and no scratches that I can find. Wear her in good health! I hope you love her as much as I do! And I agree, the orange is soo pretty!

Thanks for your input! yes, I can't wait to get her, but will have to wait till the 26th to wear it since its an early Xmas gift! Do you have any mod shots of yourself with the bag??? :graucho:

Hi all,

wanted to join the conversation since I bought my first Sophie Hulme this autumn and I've fallen in love with it. My purchase is the "classic" tote and this far I've found that the leather can take pretty much anything. I had planned to spray the leather but somehow I forgot - however, the bag is still as pretty as new even though I've used it almost every day. I live in Finland and we got the most extreme winter weather conditions here and based on my experiences the bag can take anything from heavy rain to snow. Unbelievable quality! :)
