Wake up, Sophie Hulme lovers! Had to search on page 5 of the thread to find you!!!!
I have been eyeing this brand for awhile, but just not sure. When the sales hit in January, and I saw this bag on the NM site, half price, I had to try it. I know it's from a prior season, or maybe a few years back, but free returns, so why not? New bags generally sit in my closet a bit, before I take them out into the world, and this one made it's debut last week while I was visiting my daughter. I love it!!! It's a true crossbody, since the strap is connected not in the center of the side of the bag(does this make sense??) but more toward the back, so it lays very nicely as a crossbody. Not so much on the shoulder. However, holding it by its short handle, gathering the long strap, rather than letting it hang, feels great also. This little bag holds more than my Gucci Disco(which I love) and about the same as my LV Pochette Metis(love, love, also)
So this is my third small bag since the fall, as usually I am a tote person, and I have to say it's feeling good!

Helloooo! Your bag is lovely. I'm very happy with the SH I purchased in June 2015. It's my everyday work bag or a bag for when I need to hold a lot. I get more compliments on this bag than any others I've owned even at twice the price.

New to this thread but wanted to share pic of my new Sophie Hulme adjustable tote.

I've been searching for a new work or travel bag but I have to be careful of carrying a designer bag to work since I work in the Human Services field.

I eyed this tote and it seemed like the perfect size. I only found it on the Saks site but shortly after I ordered they cancelled and said it was unavailable.

I then located it on FarFetch. It was shipped from Switzerland to Chicago in 2 days. The total cost with customs was less than total at Saks.

I love it. It is perfect for me. I removed the geometric bag charm as I think it looks a bit young for me.

I love that the shoulder strap doesn't hang below the bag and that it's not too thin. I need a shoulder strap on occasion but sometimes they look messy.

I am thinking to get the square albion tote. Anyone has idea where it the best place to buy it? I saw many places have it in stock, like Saks, Neiman, Nordstrom, and Farfetch. But I am still calculating all the taxes and shipping thing...

So here are my Sophie Hulme bags: black mini zip and tan mini tote. I absolutely love the mini zip!! I added the frog charm that was included. I am not really feeling the tan tote. The color's beautiful, but I think the shape is a bit off for me. I love it in the pics online though. I am going to send it back. I love my large tote (as you were asking above) and have had it since last June. I'm a total bag snob and very fickle - but so far this is keeping the love from me.

I did purchase the Albion square (9" X 9") from Saks. It's the bag Kate Hudson was seen with.

I was torn about it. It's very structured. They also changed the hardware for the shoulder strap. It used to be hinged and now it's a stud loop. The problem is the former allowed the long shoulder strap to swing off and down nicely. The new version does not.

I ended up returning it.

It can get there because the leather is thick and sturdy. I haven't carried it in awhile because my Gucci disco stays in heavy rotation. I usually add the matching wallet, small cosmetic bag, pencil case, lotion, chapstick, and key case. It's not full but a bit heavy by then. If you travel with less then it's manageable. I can fit my iPad inside, but the shape changes a bit. It can hold a ton! I will pull out the MG again when spring hits.

Hi! Kate Hudson's square Albion is stunning! I couldn't believe a bag can look so good for both casual and dressy outfit! Her pictures are the reason I'm interested in the square totes.

I'm sorry the new hardware didn't work out for you... I'll try it myself to see. I'm curious what color did you get and return??

Hi! It's me again.
After carefully checking the pictures, I think I understand your point on the strap. stud loops are kinda popular now and I appreciate them joining the trend. But as you pointed out, the direction of the straps make the new version kinda annoying. I do like very structured bags.
I ordered the light pink color from Saks and will wait and see.

I'm happy to report that the square Albion from Saks came before Valentine's Day.
The bag is not perfect.There is some tiny scratches on the back of the strap but I dont want to go through the return process and wait another week or two.
The bag is very structured, almost makes plastic like sound, just like some Mansur Gavriel bucket bags. But since it's a small bag (23cm x 23cm), I like how structures it is. The color is very light so I can see myself being careful when carrying it. The tag attached to the bag recommends spraying leather pretection before using it.

I decide to keep it. Just used once so far.
