I love Gucci. But things like this i like to superglue myself. But I'm a bit of a freakw ith super glue (because it fixes everything) so i may be partial about it.

Don't do it if ur not comfy. But i use it for wallets where it parts in the seams and glazing parts for handles.

Hope it gets resolved soon [emoji1360][emoji173]️[emoji1374]

I just had mine taken to the Gucci store to get fixed as it is still under warranty. Once they had ordered in a replacement tassel, the store called me to have my bag brought in, I left the bag at the store and picked it up 4 days later.

I'm not sure, if it's me or not, but once I was home, I noticed the bundle of tassels felt less bulky, like there were less tassels. It doesn't really bother me too much, just an observation.

SO to update all - I dropped it off at the King of Prussia Gucci (if you are local to me) They called with a $105 (?) estimate. I said it's under a year old and I refuse to pay over $100 for something like that being that it's not even a year old. The girl said she would look into it and if there are any issues she would call me. A week later another person called telling me that my bag is at the store and ready for pick up. I asked how the repair went etc. He said it had not been repaired. I complained saying that I was told it would be taken care of. He said okay I will handle this. The tassel would come in from over seas so it could take some time, he estimated 6-8 weeks. I said that's fine I would just like my bag back soon because I missed it. HAHA! So two weeks later I get a call saying my bag is ready. I said oh that was a quick repair! The person said uh no your bag has not been repaired. It said that you refused the repair. I said to this person that it was not the case and I would like to speak to the manager. He then informed me that the last person I spoke to was the manager and the manager put that I refused the repair!!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING OVER THERE! Finally he had the assistant manager call and she got it fixed right away. I will never return there again.

Sounds frustrating! But at least it was repaired at the end.

If it happens again, it is actually easy to repair without having to bring the bag back to Gucci. You can bring it to your local cobbler and they can glue it back together for you using their adhesive. Don't do this yourself with glue because what they use doesn't turn hard and brittle when it dries.

Cobblers usually don't charge a lot of money for simply gluing the leather back together.
