So for those of us who have no LV stores in their state and who can't just hop a plane to one of the "chosen" LV shops, we can't get this bag at all?

Was there ever a conclusion about the actual price of the monogram version?

Etenebris, you cant get over this bag, can you? :) Me neither!!!! The more I see it, the more I love it! I blew my fund getting the Nimbus GM already. Thank God, this bag is permanent for real. I'll get it one of this day.........

The size is more like a 35. The leather is yummy. The two leather versions have suede lining and the suede version has leather lining. There is one zipped pocket on the inside, and one flat pocket on the same side. I believe the price was $3870 for the leather and suede and about $2000+ for the monogram.

The clutches are TDF!!!! They have two compartments. The main one and a smaller one. the smaller one has 3 or 4 card slots and a mirror that comes in a little pouch. I forgot the price on those.

I was told it would only be available in 9 stores world wide and that they were not limited edition. I was told that they would remain part of the permanent collection but only in those 9 stores. They are non transferable so if you want one you have to go in person to one of the 9 locations.

I don't think 9 stores worldwide is realistic: I'm in Europe, and I know for sure that in Paris both the Champs Elysées store and Ave Montaigne will have them, also Milan and Rome in Italy, so that would leave only 5 stores in the rest of the world? I doubt it......

^^ It's 9 stores in Europe, Berlin, Champs Elysse, Sloane Street and I'm not sure about the others. Oh and as BagsRME has posted, these bags are not limited edition, and do not have anything that says Sofia Coppola designed them. The price of the Monogram is £1430.

I love this daybag so much (so classic, sleek, practical and black) - it's only the price :wtf: that is really making me cry :crybaby:

But good to know that it will be a fixed collection in at least 9 stores...so one day I hopefully will be able to get one on these gorgeous bags :love:

It doesn't come in black: the colours are dark blue and burgandy in leather, dark grey in suede, and the classic monogram, that's all!!!

But I have to say that dark blue is even better than black because it's rarer and fits black just as well...just now I looked a the Mono and have to say that it's also very gorgeous :nuts:

Yes, I agree with you, dark blue is gorgeous and the red should be lovely too; so all in all, I think the colours are well chosen!:tup:

I am actually having second thoughts on this bag now! I was expecting at least a phone pouch but also maybe pen slots that sort of thing. So basically it is just a nice classy leather bag which I don't think warrants the price tag for me, I have plenty of those! Also the suede lining will make it heavy & stain easily!

@Shivadiva - probably the easiest way to find out is to phone the store or ask your local SA...otherwise the journey might end bag-less :rolleyes::push:

@BagAngel - I see your point, even though I actually like such bags...however one might need some pouchettes for the little things so they don't get lost (another excuse for buying more purses LOL). And I guess unless there's some kind of accident with pens or other liquids the lining should be fine.

The weight might be a problem though...guess one has to try it - at least the Mono version should be lightweight :rolleyes:

and the price is confirmed at $3,870 USD for the leather and suede!
Cobalt will my victim, and the Mono is officially $2230 USD.

for those curious about the Clutch, well
The clutch is called The Slim and its $1290USD in Mono
meanwhile the Leather/Suede versions are $1450USD

SC bag 14.4" x 9.1" and depth 7.9" (they were right: 14.4in = 37 cm)
Im going to check it out this weekend at a local store. ill try to sneak pics or something!

clearstatic, you are KILLING me with those pics!!! Thanks for getting a final answer on the mono...that is much better than a $2600 range! Well, maybe not much better, but better anyway. I might be able to manage this somehow. Now the question is how to get one when I don't live in a state with an LV store and apparently they won't ship these....correct?
