^ that's what I didn't get it either.. maybe the leather version will be in selected stores but mono ones will be available everywhere... if it is $2200, i will buy it. if it's $2600, i probably wont.... too much to pay for mono..... hopefully they price it down a bit for mono.

That's why I'm hoping to see pics of the inside. Apparently there are supposed to be more compartments and pockets, as she designed it for herself and wanted something practical. I would love that!

Can you imagine being able to design the perfect LV bag "for yourself"?

The clutch is my favourite item. She said in the latest issue of Vogue Paris (feb 2009) that she was thinking of Lauren Hutton, one of her "fashion-heroïne" when she designed it.
Well I must admit I like the whole collection...

when i was in a boutique recently, i was told it wasn't going to be released until may with a min price of $2650 for the monogram. the SA stated that it had compartments (like organizing pockets, etc.) inside the bag & that there were feet on the bottom like the tivoli bag. he also stated that it would be a limited release to a few stores & that he wasn't even sure he his store was being allocated any. looks like a beautiful bag regardless

Yes, my SA seemed pretty sceptical about the fact that they would be receiving any, as my boutique isn't a "world fashion capital" (yet).

Was at LV in Geneva today and a SA told me the range (bags and shoes) will be available from March 1st 2009. The Geneva Boutique will be the only LV Store to get the Sofia Coppola for LV in Switzerland.
But I doubt the Geneva store is part of those five selected stores worldwide but I might be wrong ... so maybe it will be available in more than five stores, I cross my fingers!

My SA told me that Shoes and Bags will be available in the Munich LV Store too. It´s the only store in Germany, that has the Sofia Coppola Collection.
