So who went to the outlets and what followed you home?!

I just called the outlet and there is still a line to get in. I thought maybe it was just a midnight thing. The sa said they expected the line to be there all day. So I believe I will stay home!

I went to the Woodbury Commons outlet at 1 AM ish and waited over an hour on the line to get into Coach. It was crazy inside but they had a good selection of items and lots of it! I came out with the Mosaic Wristlet(really cute!) and black leather pleated hobo. The hobo came out to be $150 ish after taxes so I thought that was a steal. :D Very classy looking and the leather is so soft too. I love it! :yahoo:

Here is my loot! :p

Well, I went to the Lancaster, Pa outlets - got there at about 11:30-ish and came in the back way, so I didn't have too much traffic (just waiting for the initial turn into the outlets). Parking was nuts, but I did ok parking behind them. Coach and several other stores had huge lines and were only letting a certain amount of people in the store at a time. I waited about half an hour for Coach (someone told me that Gap was over an hour and a half wait to get in). They were giving the additional 10% off, but the store was PACKED. Everyone I encountered though was decent, which was a relief - I could see very easily how fights could have broken out, though I didn't see any. But it was literally wall to wall people - you basically had to go around the store more or less single file and squish into where you could. The amazing thing was that there seemed to be no end to it - when I left around 2:30, people were still lined up and I think the line was even longer than when I got there!

I did up getting the chelsea metallic satchel and a gold lurex mini skinny, which I was really excited about. I did get a good deal - the satchel was 179 and the mini was 20.

For anyone who's interetsed, they had a ton of soho flaps in leather and mini sig (I believe those were 169 with maybe 20% off?), lots of patchwork, some of those nylon pocket satchels, chelsea hobos (in optic and metallc, as well as a couple more chelsea satchels), plenty of suede gallery totes, and quite a bit of signature. They literally had boxes stacked up around the store with inventory, so they still had plenty there, but I don't think they expecting so many people.

I'll try to post pics sometime in the next couple of days - I have no idea where my camera is!

My store had to call the cops too- people were trying to skip the line and the ladies were getting feisty. There were 2 cop cars in front when I left around 2, and they had gotten there before midnight.

OH MY GOSH.

We just got home - it's just after 4:00 a.m. The outlet is around two hours away. It was crazy busy - there were five mile backups on the highway in each direction of the exit and the line outside Coach was unbelievable. We got there about 11:45 p.m. but I just made my way to the front. No, I didn't shove or anything. I was one of the first 25 people or so in the store and I witnessed a FIST FIGHT (no kidding) as I got shoved in the door. People were actually taking bags out of other people's hands. It got so bad in there that they had to stop people from entering the store and a line to get in still existed at 2:00 a.m. when we left. I talked to the manager when I was in line to pay and they did not plan on even half of the madness that happened this morning. I got in, got out and got the hell out of there. When we went by again before leaving there were four police cars outside Coach and I have NO IDEA what that was about. I can only imagine...

I have been to those outlets over a hundred times and I have never seen so many people there any other time. It was a nightmare and I will never go to another after-Thanksgiving Midnight Madness sale ever again.

The good news: I ended up with at Mini Sig Lurex Top Handle bag and matching Mini Skinny that are just BEAUTIFUL. Needless to say, I will post photos tomorrow. They had so much stuff but it was impossible to look at anything and I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could.

I'll be so interested to hear about everyone else's experiences. Someone posted in another thread about the eBayers grabbing tons of bags and boy did I ever see that.

Off to bed... :sleepy:

Yeah at woodbury commons the security guard was talking about how some people were actually trampled on..

So i escaped with these two. So now I have three signature pieces, the apple coin purse in white and these two!
otherwise i got these D&G velvet ballet stretch flats that may just be too small...but if girls can cram their 8+ feet into size 5s and 6s of their jimmy choos and CLs, I should be able to tough it out and cram my feet into these little slippers. I also had to snatch up these two party rings by swaroski, one in silver and one in gold that I'm off to post about. then after a shirt, belt and hoodie from J Crew I was done for the day. There were some AMAZING deals.. I had to throw myself out of fendi and chanel..

well, i went to the waterloo one in upstate ny ..
got there pretty early, i live like 45 minz away .. & my mother was driving, which was great, i slept in the car. got there like half an hr before they opened. no one was out or anything, just a handful of cars, parked right in front of coach, and im looking at each of our neighbor cars, and its all women, coach fanatic i bet. then all the sudden, 15 minutes before they opened, people were starting to stand in front of the store. it all started as like pionting and saying "oohh & ahhh" then all the sudden, there were about 15 people so my mother and I decided to join in.

& i was one of those in my PJs =)
nice & bright & colorfullll.
i was the one of the first 25 people in, walked around, although now that i think about it, i shouldnt have. but i obviously wanted to see what the whole store offered!
it was all 20-30% off shelves, with an extra 10% off as an early bird special.
all the sudden, barely 10 minutes into it, the line started to form.

the cashier the first 20-or so minutes, were down. =(
then they got the hang of it and one worked.
the line was REDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my mother & i waited a total of 2 hours, because of one register, then an hr into it, they decide to ring customers by hand and calculator. for CASH only. it was crazy!

this one women, who i thought was rude, made an announcement that she was going to WALK over to the ATM and get cash, just to beat the line. [theres always obligated to be someone of this nature.... the loud one and non-patient person, isnt there? lol if u get my drift] she ended up doing that and got back pretty quick. but the cash line was getting full too. i thought it was crazy how she like came back and decided to cut the line and went straight to the front. cutting my one guy friend too! but i guess your allowed to, eh. the look on his face was priceless. especially when he was practically the only guy in line.
but i <3 him. he has wonderful taste! i had to run everything by him to make sure i would purchase it or not. and he got a wonderful wallet for his boyfriend. which btw, i bought a full priced one at my local store for my boyfriend, only to go to the outlet and see an exact one, only with the coach tag on the outside to be going for $68 with an extra 30% off!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhz. idk what to do, since his full price one is sitting in its bag & box, all wrapped up, waiting for christmas. i shouldve thought ahead. arghz!

the store itself had a good handfull of selections.
i realllyy wanted the small black leather carryall, but my mother wouldnt let me. i only brought enough to buy what i did purchase. a pink leather duffle, a scarf, a keyfob and a purple wallet for my boyfriend's mother.

will i ever do it again?
possibly.
it was the joy actually, but ill take the consideration of having someone wait in that long forming line for me while i shop though.
gotta take notes for next year!

[i typed A LOT]
