So, what is a great classic black leather bag?

I just got the Ergo medium tote in turquoise and it's fabulous. It's very lightweight, the leather is super soft and it holds a lot. A scarf would look beautiful on it as well.

I did see the medium ergo and I liked it much better than the large hobo. Thanks!!!! Many of the members returned their large hobos for various reasons..Your collection is fabulous... I am still thinking about the slim flap legacy in signature but I am sure it does not come in the legacy slim flap only the regular Ali. Anyway I have it in Whiskey and Espresso plus a zip siggnature shoulder bag. One has to go....two bags in sinature in the same collection is too much..I think... Thanks!!!!!

I have the signature slim legacy flap in espresso and black which is beautiful. They do not have it in signature black on black..bummer. Which soho flap please show me...thanks!!!!!

Have you checked out the classics on Coach's website? Some may have the longer strap and lighter weight that you looking for.

If you're looking for a classic, timeless bag, have you considered a Hamptons Carryall or a Gallery tote? Both bags have a bit more structure and can dress up a casual outfit and work well for nighttime/work events.

They are both beautiful choices and can be a nice compliment to your other bags, especially if they are more casual designs.

Hold on.......the slim flap comes in signature?!? Off to call to see if they have the khaki/white.....


As for a classic black leather bag, Ali would be my first choice!! Next would probably be the Ergo hobo, the leather Carly, the pebbled leather shoulder tote, or a Soho leather flap.
