So more Coach trying to make our lives difficult

I have more fun to add- I haven't bought a non-1941 bag in a while, so I didn't notice the new creeds. I wanted to share these for future authenticating purposes.

My Star Studded wristlet also has a creed:

Now here is the silly thing- my Swagger Shoulder bag has a creed that calls it a "Coach Accessory" instead of a "Coach Bag" which isn't a huge deal, but it may raise a red flag if I ever want to resell this bag.

I remember buying 2 of these at the outlet a while back weeks apart, 1 for me and 1 for mom. They were the grayish color, both had Signature lining but 1 had the embossed horse and carriage and a jumbo hangtag and the other just embossed coach with the 2 hangtags one silver one leather. I remember trying to decide which I wanted and which to give to mom. I've since sold mine so I can't refer to the serial number.
Just recently, I bought 2 Brooklyn Carryalls from Dillard, same style number and plant, but the black one was a couple months older and has the white tag and creed with no number and the fatigue has the new creed with number, no white tags.
I have 2 dinky 24 and both have that made up serial number on the creed but 1 has the white tag buried in the kiss lock pocket and the other has the white tag next to the made in tag.
I don't envy you authenticators!

That's why I specialize in older bags, BeenBurned and Whateve get stuck with anything newer than around 2010..

I thought the same thing when I looked at the creed. I have this bag in black and if I had bought from ebay instead of directly from coach, I might be suspicious of the authenticity.

Keep in mind that the Sullivan Hobo was made when Coach had no creative director. The styles released between Reed Krakoff leaving and Stuart Vevers's first collection were all over the place. They were designed by the in-house design team, too. Vevers brought in "his people" when he took over, and they now have an agreement in what encompasses a Coach design.

Coach was releasing styles that it knew would sell without having any specific fashion angle to them. It was mainly trying to keep up with was being sold by Kate Spade and Michael Kors.

Vevers has really streamlined what details should be on a Coach bag, and the detailing has been, more or less, consistent since he took over. I don't foresee anything like the changed details on one bag in such a short time happening again!
