My very first Coach bag was a Cotton Legacy Hobo the same as these pictures...
I bought it in May of last year and got rid of it by the end of summer, becuase I thought it was seasonal, and too small and some other excuses.....now I really wish I still had it :crybaby:

I have been wanting a Carly for a long time and not being able to decide I actually went with a very practical Black leather Coach tote and matching wallet at the outlet this past weekend. Now seeing all these Carly's makes me wish I had just waited til I found the Carly I love and gotten it instead. I don't think my husband will let me get another one so soon! :( I love your Carly, you must keep it!!!

Glad you've decided to keep it - I really think you can use it year-round (or at least through the fall) and it's big without looking HUGE on people - all the ladies here who have modeled their large Carlies look stunning and they're all different heights and builds, so it really seems to suit everyone (and this coming from someone who owns a medium Carly - LOL!). Enjoy her!

i think you should do whatever makes you happy if you think you will use the other one more throughout the year then maybe its better to get the other one, but the one you have is beautiful!

and im sorry i just read your post about your bad ebay experience what a stupid lady!!! and thte ALI :) thats the bag im dying for, i really want one damn i would have got it from you and you wouldnt have had to deal with crazy lady

I admit that I have both of these bags (is there a Coach Anonymous??) and love them for different reasons. For me I couldn't exchange one for the other. I've had the large saddle/khaki since last fall and use it weekly, it's the perfect size and goes with everything. Got the chocolate Carly yesterday and will use it throughout the spring/summer. Even though they are the same style of bag the chocolate is slightly smaller and has a lighter feel. I'll enable you and say GO FOR BOTH! :yahoo:

Candy,
I understand that you are frusterated and want a versatile purse and can only have one at a time. But if you were to get the other Carly, would you use it for an entire year? Or come this fall, will you end up selling it anyway for a new fabulous bag that will come out then? Do you really end up keeping your bags for 1+ years or do you exchange them out seasonally? If you exchange them out, then I would stick with the cotton signature (which is so HOT) and wait for the fall for a new bag.

I love the Carly's- I have three! HEHE! I'm not a big bag person, because I don't like carrying a lot and when I have a big bag I tend to fill it up for some reason and then I hate myself when we're out somewhere. So, all three of my Carly's are medium. I think it's the perfect size.

Why don't you see what it's going for on eBay and you might be the only one selling because it is so new. Then you can use that money for a medium. If you lose a little money IMHO it's ok if in the end you get what you truly desire.

I know for me, if I am not happy with a bag or I wish I had something else instead, I will not wear it and I won't be happy. Do what makes you happy.
