I think that many of us may follow suit, exchanging a bag that we may not have yet used, doing the math, and paying the difference for another bag that we may have liked better, even though it is more expensive. :shucks:
Nothing wrong with that. If you haven't used it and see something you'd rather have, why not. Especially if it costs more, then it doesn't hurt quite as much!

I understand exactly what you mean. I haven't paid full price for a Coach bag in years, thanks to PCE's and dept. store discounts, coupons, etc. I passed on a beautiful bag over the weekend because I just didn't want to spend $500.+ tax on it. So we are now faced with a dilemma: bite the bullet and pay full price for a bag we love, or take a chance that it will be cheaper elsewhere, but it may not ever be, and then Lose the bag because we waited too long! It's Russian Roulette and there are no guarantees. I think that if I really want/love a bag, and don't want to risk losing it, I'll end up paying the full price. :hrmm:
even with the boroughs, my local the bay a.k.a lord and taylor to americans had sales on them while coach did not only for the presale. Anyways if someone in your family does not yet have a lord and taylor or the bay credit card, have that person open one and use the 15% in store discount for that day. Also if you have someone in the house that has grey hairs, every month they have a seniors day where if you use their store credit card you get 15% off. You can also bring your chequebook along and pay the card off instantly after you buy. Plus there are weekends where if you use their store credit card you can save an extra percentage off their already discounted deletes. When coach had their semi annual sale, hbc had a promo going on, where if you used your card you were allowed to save an extra 20% off on top of the discount they were giving you PLUS! THE DISCOUNT was valid on all coach items even including the boroughs and urbane series that were excluded from previous pces.
