Smooth Calfskin Leather on Small Loewe Puzzle Bag Very Grainy

Hi everyone,

I purchased two small Loewe puzzle bags in the classic tan color because the original one that came had a scratch on it. When the second one arrived earlier today, I immediately noticed that the leather on the bag is very grainy. My preference is smooth calfskin leather so I think I will return both. Photos below for reference. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Does the smooth calfskin leather on your puzzle bag look grainy as well? Thanks!

Yes, this is normal. My small tan Puzzle also has a bit of grain to the leather, even though it's smooth calfskin.

I had to exchange mine for glazing issues and the first was more grainy and the second much smoother. That being said I love the smooth and it’s a year old and wearing so well. The grainy would have been amazing too I’m sure
