See my post #564 it was 2500$ in Dec 2021. Summer 2022 I added a pink one with mirror still 2500$. I agree they are not hard to find just not sure caviar without mirror is still around. You could post an ISO or check the stock update thread. They are so cute but I think I'm over mini bags haha.

Your contacting a retail store that has a Chanel boutique inside. Chanel customer service representatives should tell you what major U. S. retailer carries Chanel handbags.
Got a hold of a SA from Neiman and he sent me these photos of what they have. He said they only come in lambskin and that he hasn’t seen one in caviar in a long time. Not sure if they updated the look or if this is just another style that they’re adding to the collection. You can see that the chain and cc logo is chunkier and that there are metal loops on the top so you can double it as a shoulder strap or use it single as crossbody. I’m mainly looking to use it as a crossbody but it doesn’t look like I’m able to adjust the length since it has a mirror in the flap and the chains are not able to be pulled through and tied. The price is $2650. I’m still leaning towards the older version but for over $3k on fashionphile I’m very much on the fence. SA said new collection will be out on the 14th of March so I guess I’ll wait and see what they’ll get. Thoughts???
If you are looking for the version with the holes in the top that the chain passes through, I do not think they make it anymore. I'm not 100% certain, but last year I was looking for the mini cube version in black caviar specifically with the holes as well. I saw several in the stock thread but they were all the newer style with the mirror under the flap. I asked my friend for the item code on hers so I could find the exact one, but whenever I asked an SA for that item with that item code, it was always the newer version with the mirror and no holes so I think the item itself was all updated. So if you really want one with the holes right now, I would look at the secondhand market instead. Or hope they come out with a similar style again in a future release if you are ok waiting.
This version is a tad bit smaller than the original version and a Sa in Bloomingdale's confirmed this. Try contacting Bergdorf's and other retail stores. Someone has the style that you're looking for. The Real Real I would watch or waitlist the style that your looking for and see what markdowns will happen. The price that Fashionphile wants for this vanity I got my Deauville with taxes much cheaper.
Yes, I agree. I was not aware that they were making the original version (caviar leather, no mirror or top handle, holes in top for adjustable straps) anymore. I thought it had been discontinued for awhile now, or replaced by the newer versions. It was also quite difficult to find in boutiques the first time around (I was on several waiting lists ib 2020-21), so I would be surprised if there were still boutiques with that exact one available.
I did end up purchasing mine on Fashionphile a couple of years ago; I want to say I paid $2500-$2700 for it? So I deff paid above retail, but it was worth it to me because it was impossible for me to get otherwise. Only you can determine if that price is worth it to you @marroncream. I know a lot of people would advise against paying that high of a markup or would say invest that $$$ in a classic flap or a more popular style, but the classic flap just does not do it for me.
So the cost-per-wear for me makes it worth it b/c I totally love it and find it very functional and don’t plan to part with it any time soon (or ever). Good luck on your search!

Ive been watching a few on fashionphile and while it’s hard to stomach such a big increase in price compared to retail im slowly coming to terms with it esp knowing that it will likely go up when Chanel does more price hikes in the future.
Funny thing is when I spoke to Chanel’s customer service about it they seem to have very little knowledge on their bags. One of them even gave me the wrong ref # and told me it was for the bag I’m looking for without the mirror in caviar leather I was inquiring about. She told me it was just out of stock and to keep calling back to check.

They do not make the new rectangular vanity bags with the wholes to adjust the chain anymore,,,they do however make the pearl crush ones that are lambskin to adjust the chains to your length Iof choice. Last time I remember, the 22c collection had the last of the vanities without mirror. Retail price was 2250.00 plus tax.
Does anyone know when they start making CC logo at the base ? I notice the new version has it while the older one just plain base. And also the lining. The new one has leather lining or just some certain type has leather lining ?
