I haven't used the vanity yet. I don't find it very useful, but I can live with it. It doesn't seem bothering me when I put things in and out of the bag.

Would someone be willing to share what’s the difference between the vanity that has a mirror on the top vs not having the mirror? I bought one from a long distance SA but didn’t realize there were two variations!

The ones with the mirror on top don't have holes on the top to let the chain retract into the bag. From what I can tell, the ones with a mirror is either a top handle vanity (which used to come without the mirror but now include the mirror) or it has a specialty chain (pearls, cc's, etc).

I used it twice in March. The mirror didn't bother me at all. My vanity has no handle so I can open it widely. Things didn't hit or scratch the mirror.

I have the lambskin. I had mine about two years no problems with the wear and tear.

I have two, both with feet, and so I do not have to worry about the bottom getting dirty. The corners are nicely curved, and I do not see any wear and tear at all.
