Hey everyone !
I think the appearance of the small diamond juste un clou bracelet is really pretty and I think it would really compliment my stack of daintier bracelets i wear on one of my wrists.
However I've been hesitant to purchase as I can't view in store and I've watched alot of YouTube videos and read stories where people are saying the small juc is lightweight, hollow and they seem to often regret it and upgrade to the regular.
People have even had their juc break which scares me!
I don't want to have a piece of jewellery that I'm scared to wear incase it easily breaks.
I'm used to wearing delicate jewellery I wear a van cleef sweet alhambra bracelet 24/7 with no issues.
Is the small juc really that frail ?
Or are these likely just freak incidents?
It's a big purchase for me and I don't want to waste almost £5k on something if I can't wear it like the rest of my jewellery.

For example I'm worried will leaning on my arm crush it ? ( this worry comes from it being lightweight and hollow )
I would never forcefully lean on it but like if I'm sitting with my arm leaning on the table and I accidently lean on it will it squash it ?

It seems odd that cartier would release anything that would be too frail so I'm hoping the horror stories are rare .

Also it bending out of shape is a huge issue . It needs to stay straight looking at nothing ends or it will look awful . Does this happen often ?

Very close to purchasing a small rose gold diamond juc .

I also love the regular and I'm struggling to decide whether to skip the small but I can't help feel like the small would work best with my dainty bracelets .

Any photos or stories / opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance to anyone who replies
I strongly recommend to travel to a boutique because you have to feel and decide for yourself if it's worth it to you and which one you prefer on your wrist. We can give you advise, which we already did in the previous thread and other posts, but at the end only you know were your heart is and what you like most.
The small is lightweight yes, but the small JUC will not just break. If that would really happen without abusing it, I'm sure Cartier would take care of it.
Leaning on your arm will not crush it. Many people have this JUC and enjoy it while others prefer the regular. That's a personal choice only you can make.
If you want a thicker, solid bracelet, go for the regular. If you like a very dainty look, take the small. Or take both, one small with diamonds and one regular without if you really love both.
But only if you are 100% sure. Way too much money to be not sure.
And if you really can't visit a boutique, perhaps you can order a small online and see if it works for you? You can always return (but be careful for not scratching it when you try it on) if it doesn't work for you. I think that would be the best way to find out if the small works for you or not if you can't go to the boutique. Otherwise you keep doubting, you only know for sure how you feel about it when you try it on and when you can see it on your wrist. Take pictures of it when you need to, maybe that will also help with your decision, good luck!

You’ve asked this already  Abd this is the thread your question belongs in!

I’ve answered you in your other thread, but I’ll answer again… zero quality issues, it’s not delicate at all. I’ve read very few posts here about any issues with the small.
Thank you . I wasn't sure if you were just super lucky . I keep watching YouTube and see alot of people saying they ended up regretting it and buying the regular at a later date . Not sure if that's due to just preference or issues with it though..sometimes people mention issues not always .
I think it looks really pretty.
I only wanted my thread to be separate so I could do a poll to see just how many people have a small juc with no issues .
Like for example I don't know your lifestyle if you are less likely to damage it as everyone is different. My kids for example if they accidently catch it ( this has happened with my love bracelet and it cut them ) will it break .
Sorry for all the questions.
I'm genuinely very interested in buying one

I truly can not visit the store at the moment.
I can order online . The audacity though or cartier not accepting returns if the have scratches... when I purchased my love bracelet in store they original sold me and were going to have me leave with a heavily scratched bracelet. I actually said to my partner if I should ask to switch it as i wasn't sure if I was being too picky or rude by requesting a different bracelet . They left a few on the desk and the one they put on me was the one I was supposed to leave with . It was heavily scratched prior to them putting it on me .
I assumed they probably often sell scratched pieces as it looked that way in my experience and how they let you just try on anything with other jewelery which will scratch it .
They did happily swap it for me though without hesitation.

Do you think returning via online is safe ? When I return what happens if it gets lost in the post. That's my biggest worry otherwise I'd just order whatever I'm looking at and if I don't like it I'd return it. That would make things so much easier . I just find it hard to trust the post man with 5k jewellery when I've had the post office tell me they won't insure jewellery of that value ( royal mail UK) .

Yes, I think returning online is safe. Besides Cartier offers free shipping and returns, meaning they will send you a shipping label if you would like to return/exchange. There's always a very small chance that something goes wrong with shipping, but in case that would happen they will investigate the case. Never happened to me, I've never had any bad experiences with them. Only positive.
But after reading your comment, I have to say that once again, I still recommend to go to the boutique. Even if you can't go now, perhaps you can visit later this year? Just to avoid any disappointments. If you go to the boutique (I would recommend making an appointment before you go and make sure they have the pieces you are interested in in stock) there will be no issues with shipping, you can inspect the item and you can compare different sizes to see which one you like most. So no return hassle or worries that something will go wrong. This should be a fun experience, not a stressful one. These JUC bracelets will still be around later this year, it's not that they are a limited edition. So in your position I would wait until I could go to the boutique. Maybe you can make a special occasion of it, like a holiday or a Birthday to make it extra special and fabulous. JMHO.

If it helps at all, I've worn mine 24/7 since June of last year and no problems whatsoever. There are plenty of people on here that have had theirs far far longer though also with no issues. You just need to read back along the thread.

There's also plenty of YouTube videos with people happy with their decision and no regrets.. I think it probably depends on your search terms! If you look for problems you'll find them, be it with the small JUC, Regular JUC, small Love, regular Love etc. etc.

Get what you love, get it insured and don't worry too much. You really can't bend or break it by laying on it. Catching it occasionally won't hurt it. On the off chance it does bend Cartier will fix it, but I really don't think it bends easily and if by some freak accident you do manage to break it beyond repair then it will be insured and can be replaced.

Oh and just to add that I used to catch mine occasionally on things, but since I turned it around so the tail is next to my Love that hasn't happened at all. I'm not sure what you are planning on stacking with, but just thought I'd add that in case it helps!

Honestly, I think you may be unhappy with it. It’s light and can easily catch on sweaters etc. based on your posts you seem to have quite a bit of concern about it and I think if anything is to happen (which it probably will, mine has been caught many times, flipped etc) you will be really upset. My suggestion is to get the regular JUC. It’s much more substantial and I never worry about it like I do with the small version. I wear my regular 24/7 and prefer it to the small.

Knowing cartier will repair it is obviously a major comfort ... as it means it won't be left damaged and unusable.
I'm planning on stacking it with an anita ko spike bracelet and a couple of very dainty bracelets such as the van cleef and arpels sweet alhambra bracelet.
If I were to purchase the regular then I'd either wear it in the same stack , alone or with my 2 cartier loves ( one is a cuff )
I think in the end it will be the case of me getting both but on separate occasions . Even if I could afford to buy all the versions I love at once I wouldn't want to as I think it would ruin the enjoyment and appreciation of each piece .
I only saw the negative reviews by accident I typed in small juste un clou on YouTube. I'm not going by the photos on Google of the broken juste un clou as I think it was Swanky would made a comment that we don't even know if it's authentic... which is true. ( also apologies Swanky if I've remembered that wrong )
It was actually seeing Swanky's stack and responses about the small juc that's made me really want to take a chance on it . The size of it looks perfect and really pretty. Everytime I was a video of it it makes my heart flutter ( if you know what i mean )

Thank you for your honest response . Is your small juc disfigured or anything?
I am used to wearing dainty jewellery which I haven't yet broken . For example the vca sweet alhambra bracelet.. do you think the small juc is more fragile than the sweet alhambra ? Or is it because the design catches easier ?
I think even if i tried them all in store I wouldn't be able to make a definite decision
I think these are pieces I'm going to need to sit with and experience for a while to know for sure which one is more me

Mine have not warped or disfigured

I’ve worn mine everyday for 3 years, taking it on/off several times a day and sleeping in it sometimes. It’s like new imo.

Buy. What. You. Like!

I've worn my small JUC 24/7 since 2022 with ZERO issues. I am not gentle by any means and it still looks like new. It will not break with normal ware. It does not lose its shape either.

I prefer the small because I stack it and have tiny wrists. The full size looked to masculine on my little wrist.
Thank you all for your replies ... I'm going to go for it and order soon I'm just trying to decide between yellow or rose gold but definitely with diamonds
