Hi all!! I had unilateral DES 7 weeks ago, and it seems like my healing is going really slowly. There are some things that concern me. My lashes are really everted and my waterline shows a lot. Will that come down with time?
Other nitpicky things: my swelling hasn’t gone down much at all. I had a 7mm incision and my skin was anchored to my tarsus. My existing crease is a little superficial, so the tarsus anchor makes me worried the created crease will be a lot deeper.
I’ve tried comparing my progress photos to others at this stage, and it doesn’t seem like it falls a lot more after 6 weeks. Has anyone had a similar experience after their surgery and are willing to offer some reassurance?
