Slouchy vs. Structured Bags

I prefer structured bags, but will flirt with the odd slouchy individual every now and then. My only big NO is an ill-fitted, saggy lining in a slouchy bag - it's a combo I just can't deal with. Takes a special kinda lining to make slouch work for me. For example, my Lumi Supermarket XXL bag is the perfect combo of slouchy, soft leather and a thick cotton lining that fits like a glove. Love it.

I like slouch for day/casual wear (such as a Chloe medium Marcie), and structure for evening (a classic envelope clutch, Gucci padlock, Chloe Drew). I don't have a job that requires me to wear business casual or anything even close, though, so with the exception of events and going out, I have a very casual style.

I also love both but I think there is a time and place for both types of bags. I carry a slouchy bag when I want to look friendly and non-intimidating, a structured one when I want to feel confident and put together. And I wouldn’t wear a structured bag when i’m out with LO since I don’t want to smack him on the head,

So true. I didn't think about this since I dont have a LO near me anymore. But I should consider this in the future if there may be lots of LOs near by.
