I like the idea of splurging but sure do regret it at times. I paid a lot for a Balenciaga card holder but don't use it because the detailing gets caught up in my coat pocket or bag slip pocket. I then splurged on a Ferragamo continental wallet but this doesn't fit in my small bags too well. I bought a Fendi Qutweet pouch but don't know what to use it for. Thank God I decided I really, really do not need the LV tribal cles..... that is some price for a tiny piece :drool:

I've recently started to buy and iterate my collection of SLGs so that they would be the most versatile. I don't think I splurge on them but I don't mind paying for the right ones.

Here are some of my favourite ones:

My ferragamo continental wallet I have had for 5 years now. I love this wallet to death.

The mini fossil wallet is for when I travel. I don't like to carry super expensive wallets on trips and I also have a tiny crossbody I wear for airports. This bifold wallet is insanely tiny but still has card, bill, coin slots AND for ID.

The Kate Spade Darla I use for my keys and my travel pass.

The two mbmj key pouches I have yet to find a use for. I love the soft leather and colour on the classic q one but I think I'm gonna sell the totally turnlock one. I had a petal to the metal one too and ended up selling it cuz i didn't like the colour.

I have some other ones but these are currently my faves.

I used to scrimp on wallets, until this fall when totally cute ones from Fendi and Anya Hindmarch caught my attention! At least I don't really change out my SLG's-tend to wear them until they wear out, so not anywhere near as costly as my bags...

I am on a mission to organize. Here are some new items and my day to day stuff.

I tend to not splurge on the slg. I tend to go for cheap and trendy. Apparently i am pink obsessed. Over the past decade i keep picking up pinks. I am drawn to them.

Currents:

- Prada wallet: outlet splurge. Makes me feel classy. :)
- Coach mini skinny: my second one. The on the go wallet. But i want something slightly different. I was looking for non pink, but fossil had a bigger looking one with a button closure that looked practical. So back to pink. :). My dad to day needs 5 cards now so my mini skinny is bursting at the seams. Especially with cash, coins and a mini pen. So i am solving this now.
- Cambridge satchel notebook cover. Just ordered it and it is lovely.
- Pink /oxblood pouch from gap. Use it for storage of bike accessories
- Not shown: splurge, a brooks leather bike seat. It is totally stunning on my bike.
- Purple suede pouch from urban outfitters. I didn't need it but it had moons and stars and was only $10. Now my portable charger and cables have a home in my purse
- pink pill box from neiman's outlet. It was too cute and $13. Now holding pills.

I have a few more treats to help me organize: a leather card case and coin purse from etsy

I have a metallic rose gold card case from Michael Kors that I use instead of a wallet. I dont' like wallets as they take up too much room. Besides, I don't own any credit cards and only need to carry my license,, debit card, thrift store VIP card (LOL!), and Targe RED card. I have a coated canvas Dooney case (kind of like an LV cles) that I use to put my coins in. I have a leather Neiman Marcus pouch that I use to put gift cards and reward cards. I have a vintage Gucci key case. Right now, I'm looking for something for my ear buds because they are kept in a baby sock which was repurposed with a kisslock that I keep them in. Finally, I own about 4 Dooney wristlets. They come in handy because they hold a lot, and I tend to carry them when I go to my kids' sporting events. Off hand, I can't think of any other SLGs that I own.
I would like to add a newer Gucci key case and a hot pink LV cles to my collection.

Currently I have a few..

- Fendi Qutweet key case/coin pouch that I've been using as my everyday wallet, but I have to fold the bills.
- Miu Miu cardholder
- Kenzo cardholder/coin purse
- Fossil Sydney compact wallet
- A few wristlets that I don't use.

But right now I just really really want ONE compact wallet that goes with all my bags.. I wouldn't mind giving up all the above for just one perfect wallet! But then again I'm really fickle!

Wow you have such a beautiful and unique collection! Kudos :) I've always been partial to wristlets, clutches and large wallets. I love big bags too, but there is something so nice about not being weighed down. So many adorable pieces on this thread!

I received the gold Lacey wallet and the Glitter Bug card holder as a birthday gift. The wallet will replace my battered LV wallet that i've had for over 5 years!

I never really was into SLG's. I was happy to have my LV wallet and Hermes notebook, but that was kind of it. But now I'm obsessed with them and planning on making a solid collection! SLG's are my priority now and bags take the second spot. :)
