@Pollie-Jean So I will stick to my own size and not size up, form fitting looks better. I am pregnant so until maternity jeans kick in the bigger size will come in very useful at least 😉

@limom Usually my shirt will cover most of the pockets, I only held my shirt up because it was super long and got in the way of the photo. Higher rise will have higher pockets so that is better for my figure? That wider belt I usually wear with a front tuck but the buckle is worn it used to be silver and prettier, I just had it on for fit at the time I was too lazy to go through my belts. I am wearing tall jeans in the photos!
I’d like to see your outfits with jeans and belts for examples, we live in the same area so if anything seeing how you dress and style would be very helpful for me to get ideas! 🙂

@limom Fair enough, but you were pretty judgemental on me for someone who isn’t confident enough to even show your own outfits on here so I can analyze your style back. I used to wear Levi’s 501 but the material is too rough now I don’t care for it anymore they got cheaper in quality.
Here is what my belt looked like a few years ago when it was new and styled better. I loved skinny jeans and this makes me want to go back to them eventually.

The jeans you're wearing here look fantastic on you!
I have Good American jeans and the waist sags and stretches throughout the day so I'm constantly pulling up the waistband even with a belt. It's super annoying.

And of course, most importantly congratulations on your pregnancy!

Thank you! ❤️ Yes I agree im going to stick to more form fitting jeans and my actual size. It was a good try anyway.

It seems all jeans stretch out some degree these days no matter the brand, belts usually help me. If you post a photo of the jeans with the belt worn maybe I can figure out a solution, belts are my specialty and certain belts work better with certain jeans ☺️ I heard about good American jeans but don’t own any so seeing how they look worn helps me decide if I want to try them.

I’d recommend you just go try them. Or look them up on the website but it’s really hard to know how jeans are going to fit you from a photo of someone else and, as you’ve experienced, not many people are going to want to post a pic of themselves on the internet.

Maybe other people need to stop telling me what to do and think and stop interfering. This isn’t the first time people disrespect me and continue to try and force their ways on me. There is a trend of that on here also and I’m really losing my patience with that behavior on my threads by certain members … I’m well equipt to try on jeans in store if that is what I choose to do without being suggested to do so.
lots of members post ootd and DONT show a face so it’s perfectly ok to ask for photo examples of their clothing so please do not say nobody likes to post pics of themselves. and yes I DO find that very helpful people posting photo examples of their outfits that is what works for me and this is my topic so if that’s helpful so be it.

If you want honest opinion, some posters are bound to give you what they really think.
If it is just to post and like me you are secure in your wardrobe, you can post on OOTD or decide not to post. IMHO.

Since you asked for opinions on whether to keep or return both pairs, my opinion is to return both of them.

Yokes. You asked what you should do (“Let me know if you think they look good or I should return the two pairs of jeans”). And a couple times now, in this and other threads, in response to people giving their opinion, you have asked for pictures of them / us to “assist you” but then said that you actually want them so you could critique other people’s style and have become angry when we won’t post them.

All I was trying to do was gently explain that there are many people (I didn’t say nobody) who are not comfortable posting images, regardless of whether their face are in them or not, on a public forum, as you seemed to take the refusals personally and I’m sure it was not intended that way. I was trying to alleviate your concerns that you were being disrespected, not trying to be disrespectful. Sure there are going to be people who are comfortable posting pictures, but not everyone. And that is not a slight against you.
