Simon Cowell has a little American Idol on the way — and he never saw this future star coming.
The prickly TV talent judge was blindsided by the news that his good friend’s wife — stunning New York socialite Lauren Silverman — was pregnant with his baby, the Daily News has learned.
“The pregnancy has taken him by surprise. He assumed she was using birth control,” a source close to Cowell said.
“Simon thought this was a casual relationship — friends with benefits. The pregnancy was not planned.”

I agree with whoever said swingers gone wrong. Hollywood is known for their swinging. This one just happen to come out into the light. She's prego and seems in love with Simon. What better way to tame a swinger (or so she thinks) I'm sure Simon was cozy cuddly not expecting this to happen while the hubby watched.

How long has she been "estranged" from her husband? He must have seen the above pics if they were taken in August last year. I hope Mr Cowell will be asking for a paternity test...

"He assumed she was using birth control". Oh, please. He is way too old to be fooled by that. If he (and she) isn't old enough to know better, they both deserve this. Unfortunately, the child doesn't.

I think he was a fool to trust her or any woman , but I can see why he would she is married with a kid who in their right mind would get pregnant she had to know the publicity and embarrassment this would cause why do it. I guess his 350 million fortune was worth the humiliation and embarrassment to her son.

Does anyone think that the husband reminds you of Taylor's (from RHOBH) husband (now deceased)?
