Adding my 2cents (and only because I'm feeling sorry for myself:giggle:) My SA ordered it in for me, even though we were both hesitant about the coloring on me. I really REALLY wanted to love it, but when we looked at it on the counter and start talking about other things.... that's a bad sign. When I finally put it on and the dead silence is broken by " Don't worry, I will not let you buy that!".... well, there's the answer!
I'm truly happy for all those who look great in it, but the background and the coloring were not made for me. But no worries, even though I was SURE I would leave without a purchase, we ( of course!) found a perfect twill-up for me (randomly pawing through drawers). So don't feel TOO sorry for me!
I'll continue my search for the 75 Balade en Berline, or that magnificent one that started this whole thing!

There seems to be no rhyme or reason when the marble scarves turn up. Harrods London had a marble silk long scarf this weekend - apparently only one of two anywhere! I’m looking for the marble silk twilly so if anyone spots one please let me know!!! Ideally in Uk but prepared to order in from abroad if needed

Thank you for sharing this! I wonder if this place makes their own scarves? Fabulous!!:flowers:
I recently was able to purchase a Kyoto marble silk muffler. Julide's question prompted me to order three scarves directly from Kyoto Marble Ltd. at the same time. They just arrived and I thought you might be interested to see them.

First up, the Hermès muffler. The silk is heavier than the other three scarves and the hems are hand sewn. Definitely the quality expected from Hermès.

Two of the Kyoto scarves I ordered were silk lawn, and the third was silk gauze. Very thin and light. All were the rectangular stole style. The quality of the silk was excellent. The marbling was fantastic. The hems are machine sewn.

The designs I picked were named Big Flower, Giraffe, and Light Blue Fireworks. All three were sold out five days after I placed my order. Either they had been available for a while, or else the company makes small quantities of each design.

Count me as a fan of marbled scarves. I’m hoping the offerings from Hermès continue well into the future.

How stunning! I may need to find a couple of these. How thick is the fabric?:flowers:
