as i like both types of charm bracelet i have the heart tag bracelet but wont be adding any charms
and i have the link clasp bracelet for the charms , i like that you can fill the bracelet and if you decided you didnt like a charm anymore or wanted a change you can just take the charms on and off easily. soldering them on is more permanent and secure. but the link clasp is secure enough. it would have to fall off your wrist before the charm would come out and the likelyness of that is not high . i wear mine alot and its really tight fitting (i need more links or to lose weight) and have never had it come undone.
i'd recommend either style they are both great choices. sometimes i prefer the shap and style of the heart tag bracelet and other times the link bracelet or both together. both are great pieces. IF you can try on both do :smile1:

I feel the same way. I got my charms removed from the heart tag bracelet because I had no more space and it was getting heavy, I will get the clasp bracelet for the charms that way I can get holiday ones for the Christmas holidays :)

I've heard of people putting on clear nail polish as an additional coat, but I personally wouldn't - when the nail polish comes off, it may flake off in larger pieces, rather than like bit by bit and that pull might encourage the bottom layers to loosen/come off.

Wish I had some better suggestions for you.. :shame:
I appreciate it! :)

I know it really bothers me, I would love to buy a few of the enamel charms for my bracelet but I'm scared of the chipping looking bad
I only have two charms on my bracelet so far, I would definitely buy the enamel charms right away if I knew they'd last they're so cute.
Do tiffany repair chipped enamel? How long does it last? Does it take much to chip it?
They charge alot for the charms so I expect them to last or at least for tiffany to repair enamel every so often

I don't mind if the enamel wears off nicely. I understand that loved jewelry is going to look worn. I just don't want to see ugly chipping!
As I was exchanging my jade bean for the charm, she warned me about the chipping. However, I spoke to another SA the day before, and she said something about how Tiffany will repair or replace the charm a year or two after date of purchase.
So I think that if you have an SA at your local Tiffany's that you have a good relationship with, you will have a better chance of having the charm be repaired or replaced.

I am thinking of getting a new bracelet ( I don't want to risk getting a fake one from e$ay or the Bon). I have several charms but am wondering what size charms you have. I have a medium lock which on a necklace looks great but I think may be too big on a bracelet. What do you think?
Also I love the watch charm. Is it worth the money to get, ie. keeps time, etc.?

Yeah, if you don't live in NYC like me, you go to your nearest T&Co and they will send it to NY to be solder (and polished once there), free of charge and insured of course!, it takes about 2 weeks to be sent to your home (or T&Co. Store). Mine is heavy with 11 charms... They keep coming up with charms I want to buy but I would need a new bracelet now :(

I just checked with Tiffanys here in Canada and they told me that they will do it free of charge within 3 months purchase. :( Otherwise they will charge. So sad!!

I have debated for eons about a Clasping Link Bracelet, the Tiffany Locks Heart Lock, and RTT Bone Tag Charm. I've wanted them for a while, and I've looked at them online numerous times the last several days. I received some good news this evening and had finally decided to order them -- I don't live near a Tiffany's -- and wouldn't you know it? The bracelet is out of stock! So maddening! So I guess I'll be waiting a little bit longer. Sigh...

I received my charm bracelet for Christmas, I have the traditional large link bracelet with two charms currently. I am lucky in a way that I can't wear my bracelet to work (I work in a hospital) so I cannot expose it to the usual wear and tear as I would if I worked in an office for example. :) Tempted to get the charms soldered on when I have filled it, but at the moment I am taking my chances with the spring ring clasps. All of these bracelets are beautiful, thanks for sharing. :)
