Anyone buying rockstuds lately? Their prices have skyrocketed it seems (I haven’t checked in a few years but I did check now and it’s a few hundred more). I wear my ivory/white pair that I originally bought as my wedding shoes on date nights so I do baby them but they’ve kept up well after 2 years. I’m thinking of investing in a second pair....
Wait for sale or some kind of promo. Black Friday is right around the corner.
I am sooooo glad you told me to wait. I basically went ham and ordered three pairs during the Nordstrom private sale! Did you get anything?
That's great! Which colors/styles did you get? I have my eye on their bags instead. Any intel on the RS spike bags?
sign unfortunately no intel. I only have a contact in shoes and literally had to harass him last night for info that he begrudgingly gave (ugh). I’m POSITIVE there’s spike bags (at least I hope so for your sake, doesn’t hurt to ask)! You should go to nordstroms in person and get an SA. Once you have a ticket, you can preorder anything for the private sale over the phone but you do need the little ticket number they give you first.
I ended up with beige and black studwraps, the metallic gold rockstuds and black sequins rockstuds. I’m really on the fence about the black sequins... I wanted a black patent pair and kinda got sucked up in the sale frenzy since these were black but I’m now wondering how durable the sequins are and whether I could wear these enough (after the holidays) to justify the cost. Hmmm I’ll try them on and decide I guess!
Not that much even when I have a thin and skinny feet , heels was more comfortable
1/3 pairs I purchased from the Nordstrom winter sale this season. These are the rose gold rockstud heels in 100mm. I’m not sure if I love them yet but they’re growing on me! I have been trying them on with a few different outfits and although the metallic rose gold leather and shiny studs are very bright and in your face at first (to me at least), I’m starting to get used to the look. The rose gold is really hard to photograph due to the leather’s reflective nature. Still debating if I should keep or return at this point... the sale price is telling me to keep!

2/3 pairs from Nordstrom sale. These are soooo nice. I am so in love with these rockstud studwraps! I’m debating whether I should keep these or the all black version that is yet to be delivered to me from Valentino. These ones are edgy, love the beige/tan with black straps but I’ve always wanted an all black pair of rockstuds so we shall see which I like more when it arrives.
