Ladies! What do you think of this baby?? Shall I keep it as my evening bag? I so much wanted a Lily but got quality issues with my red one and had to return it unfortunately..View attachment 3671884
was there any chance to exchange the red one for a black, or oxblood?
it looks like a good evening bag, small enough, but should fit the most of essentials
I never had any of my own, but a saw a few irl, so have an idea of its size.
I love my medium Lily, and personally if i had a choice between Chanel flap, Valentino, H Constance, and Lily (you can add any other similar shaped high end brand bag) i would still have gone for Lily, she does it all for me. But that's me
Again, bag looks good, but don't settle for it if your heart is longing for Lily

Thanks for your reply!
Well I tried to exchange it for a black one but after two attempts trying to find a bag with a nice shape and leather I gave up.. And I am not a NVT fan although I love oxblood so I won't get one like this either..
This one is really beautiful just a little small I think. But it will be used as evening bag so that's ok.
What I am a little afraid of is that the style goes out of trend soon, although I think it kind of became "a classic" in the handbag world.
But I agree, the Lily is a perfect classic, I am too disappointed I could not find the right bag for me after all my attempts so trying something else now..

such a shame they couldn't get the perfect one for you...
i didn't really think hard why i would not consider a V for myself (since i have my Lily, never really needed to think about it) but now as you mentioned, i tend to agree, probably that catch-y and maybe a bit excessive hw makes it look a bit trendy?? i know they are made with 'total black' hw as well, that option looks more classy, imho
if you are not 100% sure maybe you can get a Credit Note for Mulberry and just wait for your perfect Lily??

I really like it and quite fancy a v ! It's a beautiful bag for evening and daytime when you only have a few bits to carry. I'm not sure it sits in the classic category for me, I would go with something that had less detail. That's why lily ticks so many boxes. It's a difficult one because it's a great bag, but will scratch your itch for lily?

I like it, but the turquoise colour on it might restrict what you can wear it with, and because its very distinctive it could have an "oh she's wearing that again" factor to it. I think plain black would be more adaptable and you could wear it for years and it would still look fresh :-)

I kinda feel like it says, "daytime." And boho chic. Possibly mixed with variety of fabric textures.
@Kendie26 has similar rockstud--saw great photo of her pairing with puffer vest & casual.

Would work for evening. If confident about look.
Turquoise-ish detail relaxes tone, imo.

Suggest decide what drew you to bag.
Then decide if is practical for uses. Or whim.

Lily is nice. But everyone needs variety, for alternate outfits/vibes.
Best wishes.:flowers:

I saw the one with the black hw but this one is too edgy for me I think. I would like something that I will keep a long time and the reason I might still go for a Lily :)
Thanks for your input, I will check (again) my local Mulb and make a last attempt for a Lily an then decide - I will keep you posted :)

Thanks!
Yes it is lovely but very small in deed..
And as you say, I am not sure it can replace my wish to have a Lily.. This one is perfect all sides wise.. As said above, I will make a last attempt!

Thanks Pessie!
Really appreciate your point of view as I look for something classic that I will keep a long time..

Hey RemainS!
Thanks for your input too!!
It is a lovely bag and a very nice style.. My DH really likes it by the way!
But I am not sure it ticks all the boxes I need..
And the strap is very long by the way (I am only 160cm).
And I agree about variety, the reason why I have other brands in my collection as well now.
I will contact Mulb and see what they can offer and compare..

Thanks all again! I will keep you posted ;)

now having read other ladies' posts i noticed that 2 studs are looking turquoise, but is that really so or it's just reflection of the light and they all are same gold????

It's one turquoise and then one gold and goes on like this until the back.
I found it just wouha, I am really torn I have to say!
lol i should get my eyes tested!! :D
i really thought it was just the light reflection....
well, how do get on with turquoise???? is this something you wear often and easily pair with most of your evening outfits???

I love turquoise and I think this bag is beautiful :)
No problem to pair it as I love it when things don't exactly match.
But I just sent it back!!!
Too small for my need and the strap is definitely too long for me..
Thank you again for your replies ;)
I will now look for my perfect Lily.
And I will find it!!
See you ;)

:wave:Hi dearest Mulberry friends (bad me for not stopping by lately)....miss you all!
I agree w/ sweet RS in that yours is kind of boho chic w/ the turquoise studs mixed in. I think it could look very cool w/ various outfits. I remember the mod i took that remainsilly is referring to & I totally dressed my Glamlock down that day. Mine has gunmetal studs & the leather on the bag is also textured like yours (not smooth as many Glamlocks are) so i think that helps make it a little more casual. Sadly I just haven't used mine much (but not for any bad reason....probably because I've been too weirdly obsessed :wtf:w/ another brand lately. Did you decide to keep it dear Gringach.....kind of sounds like you are unsure or leaning towards returning. No doubt you'll make smart decision. My best to you ALL! :hugs:

Thanks for your message dear Kendie!
Yes it had that boho chic vibe that I love and it really was a beautiful bag!
But I have decided not to keep it as it was too small for me.. And the strap/chain was very long as well..
Hard decision but I prefered to let it go..
By the way, hope all is well with you:flowers:
I saw that you were quite busy with an other brand.. But it's a beautiful and very classy one ;)
I believe you will keep those lovely bags a long time..:):)
