Also, do you notice the leather looks more distressed as it bends into the part where the lace goes in and it makes it's shape? I hope that makes sense . Basically where it has to bend at each place the holes are for the lace .
u may consider writing to MG before using the bag to see if they'd offer an exchange...? yes the veg tanned may come with scratches.. nonetheless it's a beautiful bag!!! enjoyJust received my mini bucket but noticed this...... I'm telling myself it's normal, but is it? Just a little bummed by the fact that my bag has scuffs which I wouldn't expect on a brand new bag. But I'm not very bothered by it
I haven't seen an MG bag that hasn't come with some form of scratch or imperfection. Even the two calf ones I received in the last few days aren't perfect.
I think that's pretty good if that's all that's wrong.
I was incredibly fussy with my first and took such a long time to find one that was good enough, then it was scratched and marked after first use. I am not as worried any more, MG is the wrong brand to look at if I want flawless!!

Here's my new mini mini black/ballerina bucket, which I got from doverstreetmarket.com, thanks to the shopping intel thread here. I wasn't keen on ordering from the MG re-stock last week, was convinced I'd get stung by customs this time. So I ordered from DSM and it arrived on Thursday. Have to say I was a little nervous that it would be too small, but its a perfect size for me. I can carry pretty much everything I need (I don't always carry a lot) and I love all the different carrying options. I am really happy with this little bag
