I returned my Longchamp x Robert Indiana LOVE bag. It was a great bag, but after going through my collection, I don't think I needed another mini Le Pliage bag. Also, I had my eye on one of the 3D bags. Yesterday, I went into the Longchamp store to finally pick up the 3D crossbody bag and check out the newer collections, mainly the burgundy color of the Le Pliage Original. I always wanted to own something from the 3D line, but I thought it was going to be 3D Large bag or the medium hobo. When I went into the store to look at it, the small crossbody caught my eye. It really is a great size for an everyday bag and it has a crossbody strap. I think one of the main reasons the size works is because the depth of the bag is the same for both the small and medium so you can pack it up if you need too.
Regarding the burgundy color of the Le Pliage, after seeing it in person, I liked it, but didn't love it so I'm going to skip that color. I did however end up getting the Medium Cabas (I think that's its name). I don't know what I'm going to use this bag for, but it spoke to me when I went to the store and I ended up getting it 😅. I think I have some extra connectors from a Le Pliage conversion kit, and I'll turn it into a crossbody bag. I wish they had did the XS size for the Originals, just like they did for the Replays.

Here's my Bilberry 3D Crossbody. It's kind of hard to tell it's the Bilberry with my lighting, but you can tell in person it's a dark purple.

This is an example of what can fit in it comfortably. The case is for my iPad Mini, and both pouches are stuffed. And of course your cell phones and keys can fit in there too. You can switch it up and fit a hardback book too with one stuffed pouch.

Congrats on your new bags! I like the look of the cabas and it is nice to see this style being brought back. Maybe we will see the original size being launched for next season.

I had my eye on the very same 3D bag as well. Always adore a bucket bag and this bilberry purple is dark enough to be versatile and yet an interesting hue. Thank you for showing what fits. Good to know that it's spacious!

what are your thoughts on the vertical shaped medium le pliage , i was intriged but was afraid it would look awkward when carrying as top handle bag.

Picked this one up during the sale, it's denim with embroidery
Gorgeous! I have a soft spot for this print and style.
Very nice find  saw this print in person a few months ago on an LLH at my local boutique and can confirm that it's even prettier in real life. If they had had this bum bag style in stock, I would have had trouble resisting. Enjoy!

Sorry, I didn't even know you replied to me, it's been a while. I'm actually returning it. For my use, I was trying to make it into a crossbody bag. I did do that, but even just holding my essentials it was kind of awkward on me. I guess if you use the bag as intended as a handheld bag or even a shoulder bag you should be fine.

I was going through my collection and I realized that with the exception of the Original line, I didn't have any size small Le Pliages. I originally was looking for the Le Pliage Energy in Burgundy that they released last year (sidenote: not sure why they just didn't bring it back this year since they re-designed it and Burgundy seems to be one of their main colors for F/W this year), but I found these instead and I ended up purchasing these two beauties. They are used, but in excellent condition.

I'm so happy I was able to find the small purple in this line. I tried to get the medium version last year, didn't know there was a small version, but someone bought it before I could. I had the wristlet, but I sold it once I couldn't get a bag. I had to add a filter to try to get as close as possible to the true coloring of the bag. I already know this is going to be one of my favorites.

I also picked up this small Le Pliage Fleur. I had no intention of purchasing this bag because I'm not really a floral person, but I just liked the way it looked against the navy. I'm debating if I should keep it for myself or give it to my mom as a birthday gift (her birthday is next week, but she's out of the country so she won't get it until next month) to see if she likes it because she loves flowers and blue is her favorite color, but I have given her bags in the past (one of them was a navy blue tote with flowers) and they have just sit in the back other closet unused 😑...I do hate the strap for this bag, wish they had just did a solid navy so I'll definitely swap that out.

I decided I wanted to add a small Le Plaige Energy to my collection. I loved the burgundy/wine/plum color from last year so I decided to hunt it down. I saw Shop Premium Outlets had a listing for one. I've bought from them before and the main thing to do is to read the description with the measurements because they have every bag listed as a large. The measurements they listed were for the small Le Pliage Energy and I bought it. It came and it turned out to be the medium. 😕 I saw that they had one more in stock and I bought it hoping that maybe that one was the small. It arrived today and it's another medium. 😩 I think I'm going to keep one of the mediums, but if you'll see the small Le Pliage Energy in your Outlets, let me know. I think I have 30 days return it.

I just met a friend whom owns the small. She loves it. Wears well as she uses it daily. The only gripe for her is that the rubbery material alongside the zipper pull has disintergrated. The upside is that my friend managed to pull off the peeling parts. Hope a small comes your way soon!

This rubberised zipper tape really doesn't wear well  I bought a Pliage Green District (same materials as the Energy line) crossbody for my husband's father 3 years ago, and sent the bag to Longchamp within the first year because the zipper tape was disintegrating. They repaired it no questions asked, and for free. The replacement zip was fine until this summer, and now it's falling apart again. So, the good news is that Longchamp will repair it, but it's bound to happen again...

The rest of the bag is in great condition, though. Like @frenziedhandbag 's friend, DH's father is thrilled to bits with it and uses it every day. I'm debating whether to ask Longchamp if they can replace the rubberised zipper tape with standard nylon zipper tape. If it's a no from them, a good cobbler can do that.

Thank you for sharing this. My friend was hesitant about sending it to LC for repair but I told her no harm trying as LC does stand by their quality of products. After hearing from you, I will definitely ask her to bring back to the boutique. I'm wildly guessing that it might not be possible for LC to change the zipper as that will change the product in a way. Good idea to get a cobbler to do it instead.
