The irony is that I dismissed it when it was still in season. Saw it displayed and never tried on it. I do not carry much and hence felt the bag looked big. After trying it on that day, I just kept looking at it. The leather on the black looked really luscious. I agree with you, if you had seen it in person, it will have been hard to resist it.

Woot woot!! So excited! Fresh from the oven... Lol! Today went shopping with my little girl for our new year bags. This is my 1st bag black after sooo long... My last black bag was the Marc Jacobs quilted black tote (2013..?)
Still kicking myself for not getting any bag from the Neo line. I contemplated for some time to get this Energy one, n I'm loving it!!

After trying out the Roseau Essential shoulder bag in black at the boutique, I cannot help thinking about it. Somehow the supple leather and shape reminded me of a BV cervo hobo I used to own. What made me intrigued was that the black was no longer listed via various LC websites but my SA told me this is a current style but often OOS. My enabler friend shared with me an outlet SA contact and I found the turtledove version of it. It looked bigger as I had stuffed it full. Irl, it is actually smaller. Looking forward to bringing it out next week!

Ooohh... Nice one..!! Turtledove has always been a good colour choice. To me, it's kinda like a cool tone, yet it makes yr insides feel warm n fuzzy when u carry the bag. Similar to "comfort food", sort of..🤗
