Got the last navy blue old style coin purse/compact wallet on Edisac for my husband's birthday next week. It's his favourite colour, fingers crossed that he likes it The new version of this model (3002002 instead of L3654) has gold instead of silver hardware, and the reduced dimensions won't fit his French driving licence, so it was now or never.

Yes! Super durable! Use with ease. The thin strap might look flimsy but it is hardy. I used to have other colours before this sienna and I use them all often. Mine can be stuffed quite full, with things like tissues, bag pouch containing meds, lip balm, lip stick, medicated oil, spare plastic bag, key pouch, card wallet, wireless earphones with casing, passport and even a foldable tote. With all this, I don't feel that the bag strap is being strained. If it does break and I really think it is not likely, I'm sure LC can repair it for you. So yes, wear with ease. It will serve you well.

Me too. I love how this bag opens at the back and yet with all my things within, it never gapes open. Nothing falls out. I have my Neo card holder in the front little pocket and it is so convenient to just tap in and out of public transport.

When I was in Hokkaido, the SA was encouraging me to get the red version as it is being phased out but I already own a red Foulonne coin purse. Plus knowing these Foulonne pieces wear like iron, mine will stand the test of time.

Aww thanks Frenzied, you're so sweet I'll tell him. Foulonné seemed like a good choice given that he's somewhat rough with his wallets.

Perhaps you should have gotten the red one in Hokkaido (yes, enabling again ) because it's been a rather long time since I've seen colours other than black, navy and caramel for this particular style, and we know that they're not going to make any more of them.

Hahaha enabler queen! It's true that LC is not making any new colours anymore. I shall be content with mine and maximise cost per wear with it. It's one of my favourite compact wallets for sure. So fuss free. I'm sure your hubby will get a lot of use from his.
