I got the last bag I was missing to finish my Cognac original collection - Medium short handle. :happydance::party:

I never thought I would get this bag. This was one of my unicorn bags (the other being the Le Pliage Club Bilberry small short handle). But there I was on eBay Saturday night and the listing popped up. I chatted with the buyer for a bit and she had a store receipt. I looked up the store, it was a department store in Germany, just to make sure it was a real store, and once I was sure I bought it. I only paid $20 over retail so it wasn't a bad buy. Now the seller listed it as new and technically it is, but I do see some faint red stains on the inside. Now I don't know if the seller bought it that way or she may have used it and had a red item in there that rubbed off and lightly stained the insides. I'm going to clean it tonight or some time over the weekend and see if the stains come out.

Congratulations on completing your Cognac original collection! It's always a great feeling to finally acquire that one elusive item you've been searching for. The thrill of finding it on eBay must have been quite exciting. It's wise that you took the time to verify the authenticity of the store before making the purchase.

Although there are some faint red stains on the inside, it's possible that they can be removed with a thorough cleaning. Sometimes, items can acquire minor blemishes during storage or transportation, so it might not necessarily be a result of previous use. Taking the time to clean it carefully and seeing if the stains fade away is a good plan. Just make sure to use appropriate cleaning methods for the material of your bag to avoid any damage.

Once again, congratulations on your find, and I hope you enjoy adding the Medium short handle to your collection. It's always satisfying to see a collection come together, especially when it includes those highly sought-after "unicorn" pieces.

So the moment I saw her, I had to buy her! The great thing about the warehouse being in New Jersey is that it takes one day to arrive here in NYC. I bought it yesterday afternoon and she arrived at Noon today.

First and foremost, the tag is rubber. So far people who want to remove it, I'm not sure how that will be done without completely opening up the seam, removing it, and then re-sewing it back together. Which brings me to the next point, the material. Even though it's listed as being the same material as the other Le Pliages, it feels different. It reminds me of a rain coat if that makes sense. Third, the bag doesn't come folded. It can be folded if you need it to be, but it doesn't fold as neat as the other Le Pliages, and I believe that's because of the material. So I'm going to keep mine unfolded.

I also picked up a Le Foulonne pouch to match the Foulonne crossbody bag I bought a couple of weeks ago. It matches this bag's navy pretty nicely.

Just an FYI, the light in my home is really warm, the background of the bag is more white, even though it looks more cream in the picture.

Ooooh, fast fingers first! I'm so glad to see that you bought this and grateful thank you for sharing about the material. I'm sure you know by now I'm apprehensive about white bags. Singapore is small and it is inevitable that bags will be scraped against something. It's really nice to know that the material is different and like a raincoat. Maybe that will keep this bag looking pristine for longer? I so need to see this bag in person now. Love anything Foulonne so congrats on that gorgeous pouch too!

I’m not really good with describing fabric. Maybe somebody who has better knowledge of fabric can describe it better when they touch it. I said raincoat, but maybe more like a poncho material. It felt very waterproof. Lol. I don’t think it’s a coincidence they made the tag rubber. Just added to that water vibe.
