I don't think you had been bad; if this style suits your needs then it does make sense to get another one since they were already discontinued. It will be harder to find new ones on the resale market as time goes on. You did the right thing!

thank you for finally clearing that up. I didn't see a difference in measurements but quite a few on utube claimed it was larger. Maybe they were referring to older ones. I got my first in 2019

Aww, thanks for the encouragement (and enabling) :biggrin: I do agree with you that the Sapphire is actually nicer, since the Capucine didn't have much contrast between the red and the coral/orange stripe. In many types of lighting, it looked like the stripe and the body of the coin purse were the same colour.

And I'm happy that you agree about the purchase process. In all of my years of using resale sites as both a buyer and a seller, I've never run into anybody quite so unpleasant, and that's what I'll think about every time I see the red one...I reckon that I'll be rehoming it.

Here in France, we still have a few official stockists selling this style online, but the colour selection is very, very limited now. The updated version is available everywhere, but it seems as if it's shrunk by 1.5cm in length, the hardware has changed from silver to gold, and the card slots don't look as sturdy.

You're welcome, and yes, that must be what they're talking about on YouTube. It's tough to make comparisons since you don't have any pre-2016 bags to compare it to. The old small/medium was super small for a shoulder bag, imo. Very cute, but oddly proportioned for a tote.

I rehome my items too and used to buy preloved for LC and some other brands. I fully agree with you that we will look at the item with distaste if the purchase process had been unpleasant. I will totally do the same as you; rehome the item especially when it was not true to item description. If I bought something knowing it is like this, it is another story. To receive something otherwise is ultra disappointing. I'm sure you will be able to rehome it. Many ladies I know in PF are very good DIY masters, with some even purchasing something that needs a DIY job as they enjoy the process of restoration.

Sapphire, you say? That's a very vibrant blue for Foulonne. LC does not do new colors for Foulonne often and I remember that Sapphire blue cos it is one rare pretty Foulonne blue from LC. Enjoy it in good health!

It makes me smile too, really one of my most favorite bags. The LV is a Noe travel pouch, a hack was posted on this forum to turn it into a bag, which I love, its a great size
