I found a Soho scarf print style f13798, it is a little dirty, got it for $15.00. Any ideas on how to clean it?? I will put a link here to what it looks like, http://brandforless.biz/index.php?p=1_4_Coach-Product
It is like the one in pic #4. I want to clean it really bad, it is a beautiful purse and especially for that price!!
It depends on how dirty it is. You can use a mild spray cleaner, like the type that doesn't need rinsing if it isn't too dirty. Basically any cleaner that doesn't have bleach or harsh chemicals in it. If it is really dirty inside and out, you can use liquid soap like the kind you use to wash your dishes in your sink or hand soap to wash just the bottom half of your purse. You can dip it in water, lather it up and rinse it, taking care to keep the leather parts dry. Pat dry with a towel and then lay out to dry.

Not sure if this will work for your particular style of bag, ( and try this at your own risk)..

I just stuck this scarf print bag in the washing machine! It had ink spots and I treated them with alcohol and then put it through the washer hoping it hadn't been set in too long to remove the ink. The ink didn't go away unfortunately, but the bag seems to have survived looking slightly better in other dirty areas, and certainly not worse than before she went in. I just put it in a net bag, in cold water, delicate cycle, woolite type detergent with some other light colored sheets etc to balance the machine out. I figured I had nothing to lose since I wanted to get it as clean as possible.

# 2, which I assume is a tote from the lightweights collection. I've needed some large totes and this came up on search, it is 16 X 12 X 6ish...marshmallow light and currently taking a spin around the washing machine. Sooo...pretty big.

It's not a dirty white, it's kind of a beigeish and I know someone else posted a lightweights bag in this color.

I paid 65ish and I think I did well for a bag this size:

That is a nice sized bag! Can't wait to see how she comes out of the machine!! And being lightweight is a great thing for a larger leather bag!.

YAY! I'm glad to hear this. You know, in case *I* ever have a scarf bag to wash. I would have done the same. In fact, sometimes I think our spot cleaning attempts set the stains.

So, now, speaking of large totes...I am hoping this will satisfy my longing for a whiskey Gigi, and, it's big enough to toss a laptop in if I need to. I probably didn't need both of these bags but I know I'll use them both: 10050 XL SOHO Tobacco Braided Pocket Tote. Now I know why measurements on eBay were all over the place, there are not really side seams to judge by, so approximately 15X9X12

I haven't decided if she needs dunking yet. Probably will to reshape and condition, the lining is approx the same color as the bag anyway. I did pay $150 for it, so it wasn't super cheap, but it's in great condition and definitely worth that much, so I don't feel too bad about it.

This was the bag that took forever to get to me. FOR. EV. ER

After watching all your deals, I did go to the thrift store hoping that Coach God would be on my side yesterday:p

Unfortunately, I did not find anything from coach but I did find something great. A multi-function leather bag in very great condition for only $6. The leather is so soft and rich. The design is very unique and function-able. It can be fold and worn as a cross body messager or put in a big purse since the strap can be removed. It can be opened and worn as a satchel. The size is perfect ( 16*13 when opened). My DH love it and took it :graucho:

But I can't find a single piece to ID the bag (no brand nothing). I post here to see if any one recognize it.

The bags Leather looks really nice. I also have a couple of "no name" nice leather bags. They just say Made in China and Genuine Leather on a little tag inside. I just liked that they were all leather. Is there any metal emblem, or do the zipper pulls say anything or have a special shape? I wonder if you post photos over in the general handbag forum -maybe someone knows more
