I've added another older style keychain to my collection. I really like this one with all the detail and crystals.

I'm surprised at how long Coach has been doing these bag charms/key chains! I thought it was something relatively knew the last few years but now I pay more attention to them, I guess. Did people hang them on their bags before or use them as key chains. That may have been why I wasn't interested. I love how they can totally change the look of a bag!

Busy summer, I have not visited this forum for sometime, no rehabs, no new bags... I love all the charms, specially the butterfly ones, so cute!

Today I had to come and share.
Remember the.... "if it's too good to be true..." Most times we learn the hard way that it was not good at all, but there are always exceptions, right? Sometimes you have to risk it.
I bought two items, new with tags, that I was weary if they would be authentic, although they seemed to be. And this time they were/are and now I still can not believe it.
I paid $110 for both. The names are in the price tags. :amazed:

I had a similar experience last night. I was shopping at Saver's (thrift) and found a bag for $1.99.

It sure looked like Louis Vuitton but was Epi, a pattern that makes finding the name and date code difficult. Knowing it had to be there, I got out my trusty magnifier and phone flashlight. I looked it over carefully, verified that the d.c. was valid (though it doesn't necessarily mean it's authentic), found the "made in" stamp which looked good and I bought it.

When I got home, I sent pictures to an LV expert and it's been confirmed as authentic. For $2, I got a great deal.

Congrats @BeenBurned. What an amazing deal. I like the LV Epi leather. Enjoy.

Wow, an epi bag! I'd love to try one of those. I don't know if I would have recognized it if I'd seen it. Your Savers is so much cheaper than any Savers I've ever been too! If that had been at one I've been to, it would have been priced at $50 or more. Too high to take a chance on.

I was in a thrift store and found two Gucci slgs. I know nothing about Gucci. Both items were signature and similar except one was a keycase and the other was a wallet. I stared at them and compared them. By comparing them, I eventually realized the wallet was fake and the keycase was authentic. DH was trying to convince me to buy the wallet even after I pointed out all the things I thought were wrong with it. I got the keycase for $1.50 and it was confirmed authentic.

I got a Dunhill snakeskin men's wallet for $1.50. I don't think these are faked. The thrift store probably didn't know the brand or realize it was real snakeskin. It retailed for around $800.

@whateve, the logo was so hard to see that I'm sure whoever priced that bag thought it was a generic brand. Even fakes would have been priced higher than $1.99.

I would definitely use the bag (style is Danube) if some idiot hadn't cut the long cross body strap! (Who does that!?!?!?) The strap drop is now about 10" so it's a shoulder bag but certainly not crossbody!

Congratulations! That's what I consider a LUCKY FIND! Enjoy it!
That will never happen to me, there is not a Saver's within hundreds of miles from my home, and I have no clue about the LVs. LOL

I found this black 2002 #9186 duffle in Goodwill for $15, I couldn't leave it there (even though I already had 4 black Coach bags). It was in great condition before cleaning and Blackrock. The hangtag was missing, but I have black one from a bag I donated. Too bad I didn't keep the metal one I had. I think it was the same kind that was originally on it, because it came from a bag made around the same time.
