Your Mulberry number is super cute!!!

What lovely pieces! Thanks so much for sharing.

May I ask about a piece in the last pic? The bag at the top with the geometric pattern. Where did you get that from, please?

TIA!

Thanks Aluxe. :smile1:

The clutch with the geometric pattern I found at a local vintage shop.I am not familiar with the brand Helena de Natalio. I was just drawn to the design. I think it originally comes with a strap but they were selling it as is. There's a tag inside that says Designed in California Made in China. Hope that helps! :smile1:

Here are some of mine (yes, it's taken me that long to get it together and answer you :shame:) obviouslt the Green in NOT a clutch. These are just my Guccis, I have plenty of others including 2 vintage H and a lovely smart Delvaux that has built in card slots. All my clutches must be able to hold some kind of mini make-up kit, my phone (which is small) my (paired-down) keys and a card or 2. The trick is I don't go too flat.

My rules, but for me, the bigger the dress, the smaller the evening bag should be and always a clutch with a full length. I wear a little handheld or chain bag with cocktail length suit or dress. I think one metallic and a black with a bit of bling is perfect

Oh my God. I came into the thread to gawk at clutches then saw your green Gucci. Out of this world. I know I am replying to a very old post but I simply had to comment. That bag is simply exquisite.

This thread makes me want to get clutches too, and I do drool over Edie Parker (I even looked into having one custom made) and Judith Leiber ones even though I have literally never carried 3 cheap-o ones I do have now (one from Marc by Marc Jacobs, other 2 from Balmain/H&M.)

Do you guys carry them for casual night outs too?

Thanks so much for the info  Haven't heard of Helena de Natalio but it looks like Bluefly sold pieces at one point. Your purse is lovely!

Hey there skimilk!

I just ended a week's rotation with my foldover Fendi clutch (featured in the very first pic of the first post). I wore it day and night with summer dresses, jeans and shorts. I also wore it out for a semi-casual post new years get-together and it worked just fine.

Last night I used my Celine box as a clutch (instead of on my shoulder) when we went out for dinner. I had on a pair of jeans, a long sleeve tee and a cocoon sweater - super casual.

Guess I'm enjoying the clutch-life right now :smile1:

Thank you so much for answering my question! That's so cool that you use your clutches in your "regular" days! Inspired by you, I will take my Balmain/H&M clutch out for a spin when I go out this week and how I feel! Then I will know if it's even worth it for me to invest money in pricier ones.

Celine Box as a clutch sounds perfect! May I ask what color/hw? They are my fave Celine bag of the moment.

Just had dinner out and used my Gucci wristlet. Brought a few cards, iphone and hand sanitizer. I love it! So convenient. :smile1:
For casual nights out, I prefer to use my wristlet or wallet on chain. I can't do hand-held clutches. Only because my nights out are family dinners, lol and I have to hold my kids' hands while walking, crossing the street, etc. :smile1:

Good for you. I'm not sure what your clutch looks like (I think there's a silvery small piece I saw in the ads) but enjoy using it. If it's a small, dainty piece, wearing it out for dinner with a casual outfit, or the movies (assuming you don't need to sneak in your own snacks ) sounds good. Let us know how it goes.

Per my box - its a black, large with GHW.

Have a great week!

Yeah, I didn't use clutches while out with kids when mine were younger. They now range between 11 and 8, so its definitely easier to get away with clutches when out with them.

Have a great week!

I adore this thread!!! I had to run up and take a pic of a little purse that I got last night. The quality isn't the same as my other bags, but it's still adorable, and I won't be using it every day or night....

Believe it or not, I hit up bebe during their sales and get some pretty adorable little evening bags or clutches really, REALLY CHEAP! I got this one for...$29 dollars and some odd cents. No kidding. Half off the markdown price. It's even prettier in person. The color and the vintage looking jewel did it for me. As you can see, it does come with a nice, long chain, which you can tuck inside the bag if you want.

Sometimes I love to scour vintage shops/etc to see what other little gems I can find for great prices. I've lucked out a lot!

Again, great thread!

I love clutches and have been carrying them more often during the day now that my kids are older. I often keep one tucked inside a tote so I can just carry it alone without lugging all my extra stuff. Here are my clutches. The Tory Burch one I just received for Christmas. It's much prettier than in the photo. The metallic is gorgeous.

You've got lovely pieces! The TB one is very nice!

Bought a tiny Rag & Bone bag in July and I love it. I used it as a pseudo fanny pack while doing a lot of traveling in August. It was great at the airports I stopped in, holding my passport, tickets (folded, of course), my galaxy s7, cash, coins. When not at airports it even held my small umbrella believe it or not. And so, I present my Spicy Orange Daria Mini Crossbody from Rag & Bone.

I've also gotten rid of some of the items I had in the pic from Post #1 - the YSL clutch as well as the black Cole Haan have gone to lovely homes.
