vmasterz: I'm just like you! I can't really wear any fake jewelry or even stainless steel for that long. I have sensitive skin so I'm always wearing real gold... mostly 18 K since that's all the asian jewelry stores will sell

Plus, ever since the coach outlet came here, I see everyone carrying a Coach, even lil kids (like 8 yrs old or something!) so I was likeand I turned my obsession into toki
I'm tempted to get a coach bag but for the same reason as you I won't. I live near a HS and a Junior HS and an Elementary school, and it's amazing how many kids are using them. Then again...i know this mom from karate who has bought her daughter 5 versace jackets- one of which she has outgrown...it's crazy!

i'm in highschool...and its crazy how many people carry coach. just this weekend, i was downtown and i saw an eight year old carrying a coach bag. it was disturbing... when did coach become a juvenile obsession? it used to be classy... my mom used to carry coach, but now that so many young people are carrying it around...not so much.

Hmm. . .Truetrue. Many of us on this forum are out of college and working, or are mothers. To some of us, kids carrying coach and designers is a little disconcerting because we work so hard to earn these things. I don't know about some people, but I wasn't allowed to have those things growing up. If I wanted something, I had to work my bum off to earn it with my own savings.

My mom never bought me expensive bags like this...that's all I know. Nor did I want them though. I don't know...I wasn't a bag person until a couple years ago lol.

I had a bunch of small bags i collected over the years, but was never bag obsessed until toki. My mom had quite a few gucci/bally's/fendi/prada bags but she never got me any expensive bags. She did get my little sis a graduation gift that was a small coach bag with casino points though..lol, but my sis didn't like it for the reasons above. I had to buy all my own tokis, which is why i tend to buy more to fund my own addiction. I do like the bigger tote coach/gucci/fendi bags though...only i don't know if i could bring myself to use it like a bag for school if I had one like many other girls do.
Yup, I gotta have matching bags and wallets. I loved the Coach backpacks (but not that big buckled soho one) but the scoula is more of a backpack-backpack and not a backpack-purse, you know? So I don't want it. I like it, but I don't want it.

my cobalt duffle sac. I got it years ago here in Hawaii, but haven't seen a SINGLE person walking around with it ever. It was definitely available for a short period of time. I always get comments on it. It's my favorite Coach along with my limited edition khaki kids collection backpack since it's really rare.
