Allaboutnice, bagluv, ms piggy, and maitai...thank you...you know I am so camera-shy and my DH can't stand the idea of my posting pictures of myself on the forum, but I am slowly thawing to the idea and I will seriously think about it. There is another belt I just bought that I think is also fantastic and I've been thinking I really should post it on the forum too. So please give me alittle time...
Meanwhile, yes---this belt is still available. This season you can order it only in a few leathers though, something like white and black epsom reversible if I recall correctly.
I first saw one at the JFK dutyfree Hermes last summer. In black/natural or maybe black/brown, and it came with a black Tohu Bohu twilly. The price is something between $700-800 I believe, which is good considering it comes with twilly and is reversible. I didn't buy it because it was too big for me, I couldn't do the "real waist" thing with it and I wanted the flexibility of that look. So I waited. Then later on I was in Thailand and went to Hermes and they had one in my size.
It is one of the most flexible pieces of my wardrobe. I have even used it over a sweater-coat.

eeeh, Tamarind, I'm desperate to see it, lol. If you could manage a photo of the belt/twilly by itself, without you modelling it, that would still be most helpful, but please don't worry if you don't want to, you must feel completely comfortable, I don't want you to feel pressured, I know about it now, that's enough - I can ask at the stores :flowers:

oh goodie i get to share in showing off one of my fave things from Hermes...Twillies:love: I love mine as ponytail ties

Let me see if I can get my DH to cooperate later today...
If not, I will still try to figure out something for each of you.
I also think there may be a picture of it already on the forum? It was a long time ago, maybe something posted by Hermesgroupie, or maybe I just read about hers. I believe hers is black box (what else???) and has a black/white twilly with it. Might even have been a group of picture of many of her things. It was Hermesgroupie who first told me about this belt.

Last year, i.e. before the price increase, a set of three cost 69 Euros.
Apparently it is not so easy to get hold off at the moment.
I saw a set available on ebay, sadly for 199 USD!!

thanks for the info, it's strange that they aren't often available, I mean, they're not a croc Birkin!
