can somebody please post the inside of a Plume? i'm looking for a tote.

it's either this or the 37 Paris Bombay or a Bottega Roma tote (has 3 divided compartments inside).

thanks!
I can fit in it iphone, small make-up bag, compact wallet, small agenda and few other tiny items. Sunglasses would fit on top but - hard to close. I try not to stretch the leather .

I would love to see more mod pics of all those gorgeous Plume 32.

Also, is it so that only the 28 size is currently available? In my local Hermes they had two 28 in bright colors and they said they have not seen a 32 in a while. I love the proportions of the Plume in the 32, and think it makes a great work bag in that size...

I must have pics on here already but heres mine.

It's strange coz a few years ago they only seemed to have 32s. I think it makes a good work bag, both closed it'll hold about the same as a Bolide 35

Is the 28 available again? Was told 28 were no longer produced and only 32 was available.[emoji848]

The SA referred to them as mini-Plumes? Maybe smaller than 28 now that I think of it....

The mini Plumes are small and were for sale around 4 years ago, I think they were closer to
20cm (someone can chip in on the exact measurements). The ones around now could actually be the 'Plume II' (perhaps the 'II' because the addition of a strap) I think they are smaller still, our super-stylish member @Sammy Royal has one. Very cute if someone's in the market for a proper mini but waaaay smaller than a 28 (there is also an Elan version 28). A 28 is still good size bag. 28 suit petites and elegant ladies very well. I'd consider a 28 as an occasional bag but for everyday I'd personally need a 32. Let's remember the 32 (first made in the 1960s at the request of Catherine Deneuve) was already shrunk from suitcase-size.

Yes, these had a strap and were definitely smaller than 28, I don't know why I came up with the 28 number, totally random :P

Has any one tried to attach a strap on the 32?

So, I have finally tried a Plume 32 in my local consignment shop (they don't seem to have them anymore in Hermes stores). I don't think I have ever noticed one in this size in the wild, which is funny because there is plenty of H around where I live.

This particular Plume was a black Chamonix with PHW, which is totally beautiful. With the Chamonix though, I find myself wishing it had a bit more shine, which surely is against the whole point of it...

My first impression was that the bag felt smaller than I thought it would. It is very light and every bit as elegant as I expected, but I can easily see how to dress it down. I love the interior, and it would fit everything for a work day, even when I am carrying extras.

Qualms: the single zipper. Is this comfortable? I used to own a Chloe Madeleine (similar minimalist look) with a single zipper and it was a pain to open and close. That was a Boston shape bag, so quite different. But still, I would be interested to hear if you, Plume users, find the zip easy.

And, the bag was not as comfortable to wear on the shoulder as I had thought it would. I know it is primarily a hand held bag, which I am very fine with, but still, I am rather petite and was wearing a trench coat on the day... Could this be because of the rigidity of the Chamonix (with softer leathers being easier in this regard)?. Or, I have noticed, looking around, that the handles of size 32 Plumes seem to change in proportion from model to model. Is this the case? are there shorter and longer Plume handles?

Very grateful for every piece of advice!
