Good grief as Charlie Brown would say, be still my heart! Is that Graphite ostrich? With the ciel/parme PdV shawl?

I confess I did not know about the blanket bag origins. But I do love a good blanket so I guess I rather like the connection. Splendid collection there seton, I can't decide if I like the RH Dwich more or the Barenia. Heck, I'll take both!

LOL, we have finally discovered the real name of the " waffle bag"! All 3 gorgeous Plumes Seton!!

Beautiful pairing. I hope to get an ostrich plume some day.

In the meantime, here is my family portrait.
RH Evercalf Dwich (I finally looked up the official name. Forgive all previous misspellings.), Bareni-a, Naturel Chamonix

Stunning!!! It's interesting to see how chamonix "ages" next to barenia!

from Monde #58, 2011 -
"Male versions of the Plume began to appear in 2010: Plume Doc, Plume Fourre-Tout 40, Plume 24H, Plume 12H."

I will scan the page if we ever get an Ode to Plume thread.

Thanks for sharing! I finally located pics for both the 24h and 12h! The 24h looks very practical! Off to search for one on the reseller market now!

Quite a family! You don't prefer other sizes?

Lanit, I love your plume and keep coming back to see this picture. have been thinking about one for a long one time now. Still trying to decide whether I want to hunt down navy or black and whether in box, chèvre, or anfang's Ardennes. The nice thing is that this is not easy to find in my corner of he world so at least I have time to decide!

:hugs::love: These photos are for you dear textile. Thank you for all your enabling.

Thank you ladysarah. I don't have any full length mirrors in my home since DD left for uni. But here is my best shot of me and Ms. Plume. The light is very overcast due to rain weekend and the navy is very hard to depict. Here's another close up with shawl too.

Thanks for everyone for the pictures of the plume. I always think of the 2000 claude chabrol movie "merci pour le chocolat"where isabelle huppert was holding one in several scenes: (sorry for the grainy screen shot). I probably will pull the trigger very soon...

That's very interesting, I don't know it, I'll have to check it out over the holidays

Which colour and size do you want?

Love to see your very own Plume when you get it :graucho:

Classic beauty!

Re-thinking the elan as an evening/occasion bag makes me think about it differently too

Another beauty seton, the leather looks soooo good

Although I love the plume, the mini was far too small for me,in the sense that it felt like a dolls bag. I like small bags and very rarely turn them down, ;) so anyone thinking of buying a mini should try it in person. Élan on the other hand I loved... Perfect day/night size, though it has no feet which is a minus in my world.
