TY! :salute:

A deal's a deal!

Thanks seton, that is interesting. As we all know the Plume's history goes much further back as a blanket bag (which is what it was designed for and I guess most people who are reading this are aware of).

It was the 1960s, when the Plume was miniaturised to an everyday friendly size (32) by Special Order request from Catherine Deneuve.

seton - thanks for the plume eye candy! Now I've a hankering for elan again!

Here is one for you dearest - Neige vintage silk pochette with the navy box. I will try some twillies to dress her up and see if I can manage that look. LOL.

Classic beauty!

Re-thinking the elan as an evening/occasion bag makes me think about it differently too

TY, darlin'
You sure do know how much I adore ur Neiges.

I'll try to think of a winter scarf to match with my plume.
In the meantime, here is Ms. Naturel dressed up in Camel cw twillys.

P.S. I dont see you with an Elan. But like you, I love seeing it on other people.

Another beauty seton, the leather looks soooo good

Very elegant, seton! Look forward to see her with winter scarf!

What color is her leather inside, lanit? Would you mind taking a photo when you have a chance :smile1:

used my Dowitch Plume yesterday

seton, this is a fab bag; I think you can appreciate the 'waffle' structure better on the Plume than on the Kelly; would be killer in black too

I just love this lanit; I agree with seton, I think this suits you much better than an elan. Of course, it's becoming obvious that we all need a mini/elan exotic in our 'event' repertoire; I don't have any 'events' but I could sure whip some up if I had one of these :graucho:

I have a Rouge H Box 32 Plume from 1994 and, although I don't use it so much now, I love it to bits. When I took it last year to my store for a spa treatment, both my SA and the SM thought it was Roufe Vif until they saw the darker lining inside. Rouge H was very different back then... pity it's changed!

Here's an old pic, sorry it's not by itself!
Lovely.

Good grief as Charlie Brown would say, be still my heart! Is that Graphite ostrich? With the ciel/parme PdV shawl?

Beautiful pairing. I hope to get an ostrich plume some day.

In the meantime, here is my family portrait.
RH Evercalf Dwich (I finally looked up the official name. Forgive all previous misspellings.), Bareni-a, Naturel Chamonix

I confess I did not know about the blanket bag origins. But I do love a good blanket so I guess I rather like the connection. Splendid collection there seton, I can't decide if I like the RH Dwich more or the Barenia. Heck, I'll take both!
